Remember, Hampton was in the championship game just a year ago with a very young team and have most all their people were returning this season so it was going to be war.
As far as FAMU is concerned, they were exposed by us and now everyone has them pretty much figured out. Weak backcourt. If you have good guards, you have their number.

Hampton shot the 3 ball really well. We have some tired legs because we were a step slow. Plus HU pushed the ball down court & then passed it back out for a '3. The did it about four times against our 2nd team & the 1st team came back and had to grind to hold on because they were hot. They missed a 40 footer...just off the rim at the buzzer. We were glad to keep this W' tonight.

One big problem was players being saddled with fouls. Their intensity level was down a notch. The team has to play the whole game, meaning DEFENDING, rebounding and taking care of the ball. This team has to do that in order to win. They are vunerable, and can lose. They don't have the great play makers from last year. Therefore, in order to win, they will have to play smart from beginning to the end. Murdaugh has got to step up her overall game (defending, scoring & scrapping for lose balls).
