McCullers would be a steal, he is run stopper and a good kid. However I believe is leaning towards attending prep school for a year to work on grades. My son plays at SE Raleigh and he said McCullers is still weighing his options.

I hear we're still strongly in the running. He might as well come here and red shirt the first year.

Don't be surprised he comes in as a preferred walk on and sits to get his academics tight. We have some important additions already on the yard that fit in that category that will be out this spring and the rest will be ready by fall camp.
And please don't ask because I ain't talking.

I can get used to this snowy weather. Hey it worked on A&T's new QB signee -
excerpt from tbo.com-
PASCO
District championship plaques along with Sunshine Athletic Conference championships surrounded both D.J. Clower and Mitch Wozniak inside the media center. But the most important item sat in front of the two Pasco High football players – their National Letters of Intent.
Clower, who completed 86-of-172 passes for 1,525 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions, will play football for North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C. Meanwhile, Wozniak will play for Florida International University. He had 19 receptions for 352 yards and three TDs, making him the third-leading receiver in the Pirates offense.
"It seems like it took forever, but once it got here, it got here pretty quick, so I'm excited about that," Clower said about his opportunity to play college football.
During his visit to North Carolina A&T, he saw snow for the first time. Clower also had an offer from Florida A&M.

Coach Lee and his staff have done a great job in bringing in some great talent on paper. Let see how they will pan out in the next few years. What we need now is a good kicker, but as a whole this is the right way to build a program. 2012 MEAC Champs.

I love this class of recruits but are we ok at reciever. Wallace Miles was strong and he is a rising jr. A side from Wallace I cant remeber anyone other than Brett Fisher and George Lawernce catching a few passes. Maybe we have some talent that redshirted last year ?
I know we have Raper and Buster Douglas but they are more slot backs. Just a little concerned about stretching the field with a big TO type of reciever.
Thrilla maybe the FUTURE will break out of the past this year ?
Is WR reciever a concern for anyone else ?

We had three good wideouts who sat last year because of academics in the 6-2 to 6-4 range. They are are now straight and should be ready for spring practice when we start up in two weeks.
Coach has been working with three kids who are preferred walkons who he thinks will do well and fill the gap at placekicker and we are getting Houston back as well.

Perhaps AggieOne can enlighten us or share information on the status of the following WRs: Larry Raper, Derek Gould, Buster Cooper, Tevin McNair,Terrence Whitaker, Emerson Springs, Wallace Miles, Donta Prince, Julian Alford and any others that he has some knowledge of.

Is WR reciever a concern for anyone else ? Every skill position is rolling pretty deep right now.

You forgot Dereck Gould and Devon Stewart (6-1,215) who sat out and will transition to WR from TE and rising sophomore James Thomas (6-4,235) who will back at TE and started four games. All of them are back and will be out this spring along with Torrian Warren, who also sat last year.
It was not so much of a problem of not having good receivers on the roster, the older ones you guys mentioned earlier plus our fullbacks just dropped a ton of passes in the wide open flat all season long killing us in second and short situations.
Thus we we went out and got us a real pass catching TE who can stretch the field and a Shrine Bowl FB-TE who can not only block but catch. That kid played three positions - TE, FB, and OT. Now you put those two missing ingrediants into the offensive mix and it opens things up for all receivers considerably more in the open field. You can't cover everyone.
Another thing. Until the last two games we had a older QB, although a decent runner, held the ball too long, didnt see the field or failed to make his progessions as he should have and threw more behind the recievers rather than leading the ball in front of them or just into the ground for some unknown reason.
To the second question some more help is on the way.
