2006 per HoopScoop
Nickleberrys recruits (Pilgram, Smalling,Oseni, and Mike Freeman)
Based on that they should have walked through the MEAC by the 2008 season. We all know that did not happen and Nickleberry's gone bye bye.

Heck yeah!!!! As a matter of fact, I think Pilgrim transferred to Kentucky or something like that. What recruits in our conference do you know that can transfer out like that?

Decks
Just because a kid is 2 stars or 3 stars does not mean nothing until the Player produces on the court. Good example Buzz Peterson was suppose to be the greatest basketball player in the State and you know how the story ends He was a bust couldn’t get off the bench.
Lets wait and see how this class produces before we pre judge how good they are

I see where you're coming from aggieman. As a matter of fact, I've even stated in prior posts that I'd wait and see. But one does have serious reason to be skeptical and, our course, I of all people can't knock him for that.
That's for sure.

I dont knock him being skeptical at all. It was the reasons. All MEAC schools have those problems is the point I was making.

I'm just giving my opinion on this group because every year we get all jacked up over these football and basketball recruiting classes. Chances are one of these guys will turn out to be All-MEAC one day but the more likely scenario is that most of em will have uneventful careers at A&T. Look at our track record.

Never said played. I said that I think he transferred there. If he did, he wouldn't have been on the roster because he would have sat out.

He declared for the NBA draft right after the transfer to Kentucky which fell through as well. No one bit. He's somewhere now over in the Europe "B" league trying to catch the eye of either a major team over there or to get into the NBA draft coming up.
