I'm not talking about general content. I'm talking about access to players. I would love to have access to players to do interviews and write an article but I'm pretty sure there is protocal. More than likely. If you are representing the university, it wants to have an idea of the nature and tone of the interview. I'm thinking that athletes clear interviews with the AD.

Yeah, all you have to do is contact Brian and he will set it up. Pretty much all the players and coaches are very accessible. I'll see what I can find out.

I would love to know for example how Taylor-James came to know about A&T after playing at UC-Santa Barbara... i know taylor-james from her high school days in the dc/maryland area. she played on my daughter's aau team and i got to know her, her mother and aunt pretty well. don't know how she wound up at uc-santa barbara since she's originally from illinois. but she moved to the dc area during her high school years, and i got to know her well. you won't find a nicer more polite kid anywhere. and that fire you see from her on the court, didn't suddenly just happen when she got to a&t. brittanie has always had that fire! that was the first thing i noticed about her when i saw her for the first time. that fire is a part of her makeup, she's always played that way. she brings a lot of intensity to the game and as you can see in some of her action photographs, its written all over her face!

77 gotta disagree with u a bit there. Now it might be because I'm not a resident of greensboro or north Carolina for that matter, but being on the outside looking in Jerry seems to know what he is doing. True ive only seen the man operate for about a year and a half, and I'm impressed. Julian was a walk on with this team and now he plays a major role in their success. He had limited mins at his previous schools and didn't make a team untill his jr year in high school ( a true late bloomer). Now I've known juju his whole life and none of his coaches have ever came up to me and said this kid is the best anything but a great pre game meal grace prayer lol. The fact that mr eaves can go out on a lim and make a statement like he did shows me that he has his best intrest at heart. Also neph told me about the speechs the man gives... From what I hear if he didn't swear he would could be a pastor because of his ability to give an understanding of a situation. Being motivational, insparational, and many other adjetives I don't feel like typing on my iphone right now. Lastly the way he runs the team on gameday; sub fast sub often. This is a great concept when used right. Not what have you done in your past, but what have you done for me lately. It works and it's fair all in all I can't see too many flaws with coach. He's doing a great job at coaching. But even the bible says seek and yee shall find, so if we look hard enough we can always find something wrong... First things first, EVERYBODY up here thinks that we are insiders. lol (outside looking in statement). I'm one guy up here that thinks that Eaves has reached the ceiling as a coach. He has no accomplishments over the last 5.5 years. His win pct. is about 35% in conference, he's never had a top 3 regular season finish, and he's never won more than 1 tournament game. He routinely plays about 10 people a game and that strategy hasn't worked anywhere. His players don't get better or bigger from year to year which is an indication of a poor offseason program. To top it off, he hasn't shown the ability to put together a strong staff (even if it's just 1 strong assistant instead of a host of former players on the bench). A very weak MEAC this year has enabled this team to hang in there (we went from dead last to 3rd in a week), but just watch him a bit closer. Or watch the game when we play Del State. Our team is 2 times more talented than Del but we're down 10 at the jump ball because of Jackson's superior X and O game. You sound like a good guy, but when it comes to Jerra, I've gotta disagree.

Hey did you guys see Julian McClurkin aka Dr. J on sportscenter top 10 this morning? Number 7 with the one hand dunk. I didn't get to watch the game last night, but I surely saw the highlights!

Hey, we'll take the publicity anyway. Speaking of worthy dunks. The one that Jason Wills did when he jumped over a player was and still is worthy of any highlight reel. For those who didn't see it, missed a treat.

McClurkin’s dunk reminded me of Worthy and the Lakers on a fast break. The way he did it was smooth and effortless. Dude just took it fast break in stride and one hand stuffed it. Maybe someone will post a clip.

Maybe someone will post a clip. i'll give you that. now that you mention it, it definitely looked like a vintage james worthy one handed jam. no one seemingly dunked from the right side of the basket "with the right hand" more than james worthy (after a magic no look feed) on a fast break...

yea.... da kids got bounce....... www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EKi9FB3XCECheck out the two videos on youtube this one and the sportscenter slam. "wow, it really must have been a slow night around the country. i saw the dunk and it was nice, but i didn't think it was worthy of espn's highlight reel... " Come on now OLD SCHOOL... was the night really that slow? I mean pitt and uconn were def playing the same time the aggies were. plus texas and A&M (the other aggies). I think that SC had a large selection of highlights to pick from.... lets just say they seleted the right aggies. So hold off on the hate for a little while and let A&T enjoy the pub for one night....
