I agree with the theme. I just wonder how the game would have turned out if the pressure was on Central to score, or either, on us to give/gain field position. Remember Central "took a knee" at the end of the game. It showed class, but it fueled the fire about "the decision". If they had scored we may had more to think about. If the score was tied...I know that we would have punted after our last drive. I think our D' would have won the game in OT. ....Man pass me that Scott Hall "everclear recipe" again...and give me a couple of "Homecoming all-nighters" starting with ...Chuck Brown....

There's no way to agree with the decision, ever. It's a bad football decision no matter what.

1) If you go for two and make it the game is tied. That changes the entire coaching stategy on both sides and changes the confidence level of our team.

2) If you go for two and don't make it you are still only behind by two.

3) If you kick the extra point you are behind by one.

4) If you miss the extra point you are behind by two.

If all four cases, a field goal wins. You could win in scenario #3 with a safety but that is much less probable.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! When you're down by 2, you always go for the 2 point conversion because if you go for 1, you are still down by 1. But if you go for 2, you have a 50% chance of making it and tying the game, because you never know what's going to take place, regardless of how much time is on the clock!

to me it just seems like common sense. you dont need to be a coach to know if you are down by two in the 4th after scoring TD you go for two because you want to win. now i can understand if you were not allowed to go for two but this wasnt the case. i guess fobbs doesnt want to win and is looking for the quickest way to get fired. we would have never had these problems if they never fired Bill Hayes.

Very good point, the stats will summarize the game and give us an idea of how the game was played. Which brings up another point. Looking at the stat line of the last Aggie possession, legal procedure. That is an execution penalty. Ultimately, if the players don't execute or under perform what would you say is the real problem?
