I think we made a mistake with the most recent renovations. We should have left the bleachers in and reserved the entire lower level for student seating. That way we could expand the Dawg pound and get the students closer to the court on all sides.
Why not move reserved seating to the first ten rows of the upper levels?

Right now the students at Corbett are our biggest attraction ... even more than the basketball team. We need to highlight them every chance we get.

? I do not know any season ticket holders that attend the game to see the students in the pound ( as great as they are).....but maybe I talk to the wrong group...I do drive here to watch the pound as entertaining as it may be...

At the very least we need to have the students sitting in those seats for the televised games. El Presidente, you need to make this happen!

I know for a fact that Prince Midas invites anybody wearing gold to come down and fill in the empty seats in the lower level during the TV games.
Maybe next season we should not have reserved seating for the games shown on ESPNU. Announce on the radio that it will be first come first served, but in order to sit in the lower level you must have on gold.

To be fair to those who pay good money for season tickets down low, I suggest A&T hold those seats for the owners until 15 minutes prior to air time for TV games before releasing the hounds.

Naw man. Like BT said, the dawg pound is generating more attention than the basketball team right now. We need all the students down there for televised games. This could be a great recruiting tool if we worked it right.

I agree and I think all of our coaches would agree that Corbett is a great recruiting tool.

I suggest we hurry and build a new arena.

Hell, lets not just stop at that. I say we need a new football stadium with a retractable roof. Plus, I suggest we hurry up and build an indoor practice bubble.

No new arena! Corbett is perfect because the students are so close to the court which can be very intimidating to opponents. Aggiemarketingman you gone make it happen......right?

I've been thinking, we definitely need to have a Midnight Madness event in Corbett this year.
We should invite Maceo, the guy who actually sings the song "Go sit down", to come and perform that live during the event. The Dawg Pound would go wild.
I haven't heard any other music from him in years so it probably wouln't cost a lot to have him perform.

build another arena with the student section around the court... separating the lower level & paying level would be a walk-way which would carry you around the court plus be wide enough for the dancers & steppers.... the lower level would be retractable to reveal 2 practice courts... one on each side of the game court... which would give bball 3 practice courts.... an arena parking lot so the department can make money on parking because this is loss revenue at corbett....
if a new areana is built it would be nice to have the coaches imput....
