Still not thr point, I am sure their 5k fans are more engaged in the actual game versus being there for the band or the fashion show. My bad. I forgot you have season tickets to Maine football games and fly up every weekend to attend in person. You definitely know all about their crowd engagement and stadium environment.

That must have been around 1928 when A&T first became co-ed. Because by 1940 A&T's female to male ratio was 6 to 1 female to male and ballooned to twice that because of the war and with the addition of other female friendly education disciplines under Dr Bluford . My great aunt has a picture of her and Eleanor Roosevelt when she visited A&T in 1945 Aunt Murdy's senior year. She stated that there were more females on campus at that time than males mostly because of the wars and draft. So it's logical that there would be less females on a&t's campus prior to the 40s because A&T was mostly an Agricultural and Technology minded Institution, and less of a liberal arts and Education Institution like Teachers,Bennett and Central & most HBCU institutions of that period in time. But you are correct females are more engaging and animated than males at games. Even when they have no idea what is happening on the field. The way to go maybe it's through the female student body population. i said that i have no proof. but i do know for a fact that the rumors on campus were akin to the numbers i previously mentioned and that wasn't the 1920's, that was the 1980's... The 80's 😆 I find that hard to believe.

Me personally, I make a lot of noise at all games I attend, that's just me. But, I am of the opinion, if folk pay their monies to come see a game, concert or any kind of entertainment, it takes some nerve to tell the folk that paid money what to do while they are there. That's it for me in a nutshell. I'm glad dem churn got the nerve

This is the stadium atmosphere at Maine's Homecoming game:
You guys keep thinking PWC ice is colder, but I am telling you it is not.

I don't think you are going to get an informed argument. I attended the Tribe's Homecoming game last year and it was a dud. In fact, our worst attended games have more energy. Their band had to have been their pep band. Maybe 30 members. Da bruhz tailgate was poppin more than the game.

I know Aggie2039 had the time of his life at the Maine Homecoming game last year, and especially the Dave Matthews Band postgame concert.
Dude was truly in his element that weekend.

A&T has a chance to become the premiere athletics environment and fanbase in the CAA. Can we do it is the question.

We need better leadership to do it. Our athletic director does not care about marketing, communications or fundraising.
We need to be better in those areas in order to be successful in the CAA.

Our athletic department raided $2.3M so to say they do not care about fundraising is a bit incorrect. You do not raise over $2M if you do not care.

Exactly. People are envious of your little brother down the street that's having issues paying bills and signing bad deals , but hey they having a good time so why does that matter.
Just a weird place to be in as it relates to NCAT right now

Professor, who here stated that they were envious of NCCU and their crowd engagement?
No A&T fan thinks Central has better fan support than we do.

I think the point is that not many HBCUs are doing as well as we are with athletics fundraising, which is saying quite a bit honestly.

Those fundraising numbers are a credit to volunteer leaders like Aggie One and the individual donors of the AAF. It is pretty much a grassroots effort from our loyal alumni and fanbase, with very little help from the actual athletic department.
If we had better support, communications and leadership from the athletic department those numbers could quadruple. Just imagine how much more money the school could raise if we actually had a corporate development strategy.

So you think the Marcus T. Johnson track naming and donation happened because of AAF volunteers? When was the last time you actually interacted with her or participated in an event she organized? Because you are not in the know you assume things are not happening, maybe her primary focus are corporate and big money donors. Your 19.99 club is not going to equal to $2.2M.
