Hall will be there in 26, i do not understand why people on this board continue to think athletics will be the new Chancellor #1 priority🤣🤣 Our Apr is rising and fundraising is up... No scandals or sanctions smh And upgrades on the way. Furthermore, fans do not understand facilities is in charge of the athletics renovations not the athletics department 🤣🤣 Based on that logic, every coach at A&T would have a lifetime contract. At some point, winning conference games has to happen in order to keep your job.

Yeah.
But probably a little more than two or three years in after multiple conference switches in a short timespan.
I haven’t bothered to look at the average tenure of a CAA baseball coach, but if it’s anything like that of the football coaches then he’s fine.

I think 2025 might be the most important year of Coach Hall's tenure at A&T. We'll have a new chancellor next year and I keep hearing changes are coming within our athletic department. If we get any serious action with the War Memorial renovation project this summer, Hall will no longer have that get-out-of-jail-free card in his back pocket ... and he might be reporting to a new boss. In 2023, we finished in the bottom three of the conference standings. In 20024, we will finish next to last. If we dont have a major improvement in 2025, I don't know if Hall will get another chance to rebuild in 2026. Do you believe our AD is leaving on his own?

I think the level of expectations for the baseball program will be directly proportional to the amount of resources we are willing to invest as a university.
Hence, no one can really fault Hall for the mid-season collapse this year (and that's definitely what it was) because we all know that he has the worst facilities in college baseball.
However, if the baseball stadium gets an extreme makeover, the program will quickly be expected to show a return on that investment via a better finish in the CAA conference standings.

We can all agree that the Aggies collapsed, but it was more toward the end/stretch run. And do you know what gets good teams through that stretch run where EVERYBODY is tired and arms are sore?
PITCHING DEPTH, which we haven't had-EVER.
The good news is that the young kids who have committed to us who are preparing to graduate from high school in 2-4 weeks are STILL committed, not being bothered by opposing teams putting up football scores on us. They see themselves as coming in and being able to contribute right away, which is a good thing.
The drawback to that, however, is that D1 college baseball ain't the same as 2A-4A high school baseball. Hitters can hit and pitchers know how to pitch-both the physical/mechanical component AND the psychological.
This season effectively ended when Campbell beat us in Buies Creek in game 2. We were in position to win, and our pitcher gave up a walk-off 2-run homerun (sounds familiar). We never really rebounded, and lost every conference series after that.
WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR!!!

Blessing in disguise for our pitching staff, as ALL of them will probably get an inning or two this weekend against Towson to salvage a little respectability and positive momentum headed into the summer season and offseason. They'll ALL be rested and shouldn't suffer from battle fatigue.

Stef isn’t lying. He was a pretty good catcher for us, too. #44

They'll never remove him until they give him the resources to actually compete. He's been working miracles.

What is exactly competing? A CAA title , top 3 in the conference
What's our goal?

Based on our previous investments, I think our goal was to just field a pseudo-Division One baseball team that had enough players to finish a season.
If we ever renovate War Memorial Stadium our goal would then have to be finishing in the top half of the conference.
Like I said, Hall has a perpetual 'get-out-of-jail-free' card as long was War Memorial remains a complete dump. As soon as the building is no longer a dump, he is gonna be expected to do more than just field a team.

Well peeps, our baseball season has come to an unceremonious end.
Heavy rain in Baltimore/Towson soaked the field beyond playability, and the game was canceled and will not be rescheduled.
We conclude our once-promising season 3 games under .500 at 25-28 & next to last (in front of Towson) in the league, 1 spot under the pre-season prognostication.
Please touch & agree with me that Coach Hall scours all available resources to bring in some QUALITY PITCHING AND PITCHING DEPTH!
Lots of players have exhausted their eligibility, and he will have to replace arguably one of the best-ever hitters in Aggie baseball history in Tatsunori Negishi, along with more than likely having to replace Canyon Brown who will most likely hear his name called in the upcoming June amateur draft.
