Please pray for the NC A&T pitching staff. That's our weak link, and has been for years. There is NO ACCEPTABLE EXPLANATION that can be offered to justify blowing a 9-2 lead and lose 20 to dern 10! GWU was 9-18 coming into the contest and they took batting practice off of our pitching staff, as did UNC-W. As much as I despise hearing the Corey's go on and on about Campbell baseball, they are liable to score 30 on us each game this weekend. That was an embarassment last evening. Yes, it was one of the most brutal baseball games I think I have ever seen at the collegiate level. It wasn't just the pitching. The fielding was also atrocious. However, I plan to make the trip to Buies Creek Friday in hopes that they can snap out of this current 5-game losing skid. We need to get back on track and build up some momentum within conference play. |

Aggies look to be out of their 5-game slump. Although, they’re still leaving quite a few runners on base, they are back to getting timely hits. Through 7 innings, they have 14 hits and lead Campbell 12-6.

That's a BIG win, first in 17 tries against the Camels.
Kilpatrick got the start, gave up 5 in T2 (walk, followed by GS) then proceeded to shut them down over next 4 IP. Meanwhile, the bats woke up to the tune of 12 unanswered runs, before securing victory 13-7 over Campbell.
Aweome job fellas. Keep it going for rest of the weekend.

Respect!! Campbell has been a nationally ranked team most of the season
They got the 2-1 series split but we gave them all they could handle.
No easy games in this conference.
