Aggies with 2 on and NO OUTS...we've gotta capitalize on this!
UNC makes a pitching change...

i don't think unc forgot about that "azz spanking" we put on them 2 seasons ago, so they're definitely not taking us lightly...

Yeah 2039 we had untimely errors and particularly throwing errors. Tho the score is what it is, we belong on the field with them. We just need a couple more arms. Carolina got a couple of dudes that flat out rake. But oh well.

Yeah, our team has been thriving this year with active bats and timely hits. Although, we had more hits (10-9), we simply weren't able to get those hits at the right time, but that's baseball for you. With two bases-loaded and no-out situations, we only were able to produce 1 run on 1 base hit. With two timely hits, we could have easily had 3 to 4 more runs which would have put some pressure on UNC. We also gave them at least 2 runs from the 3 errors. Additionally, being at the game, you could feel the momentum building in the top of the 3rd when we loaded the bases with no outs and then the weather delay (lightening) came at the most inopportune time and killed our momentum. Oh well, that's just how it goes sometimes, but this baseball team is certainly for real and can play with any of the big boys. AGGIE PRIDE!

Going into this weekend's tilt against UNCW at the WAR, The War Boys' RPI is within the top-100, sitting at 98. www.ncaa.com/rankings/baseball/d1/rpiI'm not sure exactly where it'll need to be in order to be considered for an At-Large berth, but I cannot remember the last time it was THIS high.Â

The Seahawks gained a split of the home-and-home series with the win and pushed their record to 18-11 with their fourth straight win. Coastal Carolina, meanwhile, dipped to 20-8 with the road loss. With the game tied at 4-all in the bottom of the seventh, Kevin Novobilsky ignited a rally with a one-out single. Please pray for the NC A&T pitching staff. That's our weak link, and has been for years. There is NO ACCEPTABLE EXPLANATION that can be offered to justify blowing a 9-2 lead and lose 20 to dern 10!
GWU was 9-18 coming into the contest and they took batting practice off of our pitching staff, as did UNC-W. As much as I despise hearing the Corey's go on and on about Campbell baseball, they are liable to score 30 on us each game this weekend.
That was an embarassment last evening.
