i don't think that's a good idea and i don't think he'd wanna return anyway. even if he did return under coach ross' concurrence (which ain't happenin'), he'd "ruin" our team chemistry cuz he's a "shoot first" player, not a "team" player. our current team does an excellent job of playing "team ball" and i'm sure coach ross had rather keep it that way. plus, glasper gives us "everything" that woods gave us in terms of scoring except glasper gets most of his points "within the offense". right now, shell is our undisputed floor leader who distributes the ball as well as score for us and shell also has tremendous "chemistry" with glasper. woods would ruin that chemistry cuz he likes to dominate the basketball. woods is a great talent at our level but i don't think he's a good "fit" for our current team unless he completely changes his attitude relative to playing "team ball". i wish him well but no thanks as far as him returning...

There’s been a decent amount in every Power 6 conference since the portal was invented. First that came to mind off top for me was Tyler Harris at Memphis. Did 2 there, went to Iowa State, and came back to Penny. Now he’s at USF. Also Emmit Williams Jr, played 3 at WVU, left, and came back for a year to play for Bob Huggins again

Don't know about the coaching situation when he came back to Georgetown. A kid named Willis that transferred into Charleston from Minnesota and then transferred back after a year under the same coach at Minnesota, so it does happen

Sitting on the deep end of the bench may have humbled him. This transfer portal era is all about bringing in better talent than you lose. If he wants to come back I say, do it.

Jeriah Horne left Tulsa to go to Colorado for a year, then came back for his senior year under the same coach.
