According to Raoul A&T WBB has added two additional transfers ,Darrionna Howard 6'0 freshman forward from Delaware and Reiven Douglas 5'7 Jr. guard out of Quinnipiac. This makes for a crowded room.

We need to keep making Corbett crazy. ( In that if a visiting team comes, and they get the vibe. They( their player) may feel good about transferring . )

Yep, now makes me wonder who else is not coming back? I have a suspicion who it may be but will wait until I see the final roster....or other announcements. This is a very deep team! I'm excited that Douglas is coming to A&T.....she is the real deal!

If non grad-transfers aren't in their by end of business today, they can call it a wrap for the upcoming season. We're in good shape if no last second defections occur.

I did see that we had another player in the portal by the name of Hannah Simmons a 5'9 G/W.I was not familiar will her. I think coach has assemble a large group of talent for next year.No one should be comfortable in their position causing them to work harder to improve their skills. Also to allow for injuries which will happen.

If we are able to get some good D1 teams in the building it will go a long way in generating excitement and attendance.

Howard Takes Home CAA Rookie of the Week Honors 11/13/2023 12:00:00 PM | Women's Basketball RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware women's basketball freshman forward Darrionna Howard was named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie of the Week, announced by league officials Monday afternoon. This is the first award of Howard's young career. In Delaware's season-opening 81-55 triumph over Longwood (Nov. 9), Howard made her collegiate debut and logged in 26 minutes of impactful play off the bench. The Smithfield, N.C. native finished with 13 points, shooting an efficient 62.5 percent (5-8) from the floor, and 12 rebounds (three offensive) to secure her first-career double-double. Notably, she played a pivotal role in the Blue Hens' defensive strategy, accounting for three steals out of the team's total of 10 and distributing two assists in the commanding home victory. Howard has made her mark among the conference leaders after her performance in the Blue Hens' lone game of the week. Leading the league in defensive rebounds per game (9.0, tied for 1st), she also holds impressive rankings, standing tied for 2nd in rebounds per game (12.0), tied for 3rd in steals per game (3.0), and sixth in field goal percentage (62.5). On a national scale, Howard secured the ninth spot in defensive rebounds per game, the 21st position in rebounds per game, and a 28th ranking in double-doubles.

Douglas - Backup PG? Howard - Rotational F? Sounds like it. I say, at this point, Every Back-up needs to be able to take over a game if needed. (I would Love for our Bench to be able to increase a lead, or at the very least hold the ground.) We let some Teams off the Hook and couldn't help it. {needing more experience in inbounding, being stronger with the ball, and getting buckets, as opposed to maybe setting for the #-ball}.
