Another motivation is that Hofstra beat us last year in the tourney as a 12 seed.

i don't care who we play, just bring 'em on! unlike last season, i believe we are "healthy" this year and i don't think our ladies are happy about finishing 4th cuz we held down 2nd place virtually all season long. I wouldn’t describe em as healthy just off the strength just off the strength we lost 3 veteran major rotational pieces to season-enders, and a true freshman who would’ve been getting some burn (straight from the horse’s mouth), if I can count that as 4. The team, more specifically Jordyn, being impacted by 4 guard being out is literally my only concern outside of Stony Brook. But if they play how they are capable and most importantly limit the turnovers I see a dub. Especially for the sake of revenge

On the surface, would MUCH rather them than W&M since we only beat them by 2 & Hofstra is a 13 seed. On the other hand 1) Idk how we are gonna play because post-MEAC this time of the year has been our kryptonite 2) If Hofstra plays like they did today & like they did at Corbett a week ago, it won’t be smooth sailing. It doesn't matter who you play when tournament season starts. You either win or go home . I don't have a preference of who we play as long as we bring our A game .

Nyah, Levossie, & Sean Kelly. nyah only played in 7 games, sean kelly only played in 9 games, and levossie only played in 1 game. we've played "29 games" so far this season. so those players hardly contributed to our conference finish. nyah only averaged 2 ppg, sean kelly averaged 4.6 ppg, and levossie only played in 1 game scoring 2 points in that game. of those 3 players, i'd say that darks is the only major contributor but even she went down "early" in the season. so imo, those 3 players were not major contributors to the team this season because they were injured so early in the season, especially not contributing during conference play. so the players who are now healthy, are the same players who led us to a 4th place conference finish. i do not think any of those 3 players contributed to our conference schedule. so to me, we "are" healthy relative to the players who led us to where we are now in the conference...

Depth boss…depth. When your most dominant ball handler & scorer & playmaker all in one has to sit, you literally need players that are in the same position that can at the very least play make for others (like Maleia & Chaniya, Laila) until your star is ready to get back in. One of the coaches on this exact team literally expressed this same concern out of their own mouth to me a few weeks ago. The turnovers pretty clearly tell that story too

OSA….Nylah Willis was quality depth along with SKD coming off the bench before both were sidelined this year…but like you said neither played much during the conference slate…

The turnovers pretty clearly tell that story too my point is that we got to where we were in the conference without them, certainly not having those players is not an "excuse" for not winning the tournament cuz those 3 players did not contribute to our 3rd place regular season finish. that's my point, we were healthy relative to the players who got us to where we finished during the regular season...
