oh, i definitely expect us to win our last 2 games in clubcorbett... They are both home games!!! We got this. yeah, and we need monmouth to lose to towson this week so if we win our 2 games this week, we'll finish in 2nd place by ourselves. otherwise, if monmouth and us win both of our games this week, we'll finish "tied" with monmouth for 2nd place but unfortunately, monmouth has the tiebreaker on us... |

Hopefully we get a favor from Towson today. Move back into 2nd if they can knock off Monmouth.(if we win of course)

In the month of February we have lost to every team that is currently in the top 5 of the CAA standings. We did not play William and Mary in February. Out of the teams that are 6th and 7th, we lost to Drexel this month. We need to beat the top teams when they count. I am concerned about our 2nd round game now.

So now we are 4th place in the standings.
Games to watch on Saturday…
Delaware vs Charleston - Charleston lose and we win = 3rd seed
W&M vs Stony Brook - Hopefully SB wins. If we lose and W&M win = 5th seed
I really don’t see W&M beating SB, so we should remain 4th seed even if we lose.

Groundhogs day. Last season the ladies finished 4-5 down the stretch. This season we're 4-4 with one game remaining.

I haven't done the research, but it appears that every season, we run out of steam leading into the end of the season and the Tournament and everybody else becomes world-beaters. They get better as the season progresses and we either stay the same or digress. It's starting to be an annoying pattern. |
