In the month of February we have lost to every team that is currently in the top 5 of the CAA standings. We did not play William and Mary in February. Out of the teams that are 6th and 7th, we lost to Drexel this month. We need to beat the top teams when they count. I am concerned about our 2nd round game now. I haven't done the research, but it appears that every season, we run out of steam leading into the end of the season and the Tournament and everybody else becomes world-beaters. They get better as the season progresses and we either stay the same or digress. It's starting to be an annoying pattern. That honestly sounds like a coaching issue, in the way y’all are describing it. Depth as well though, because there isn’t much of it on this team & injuries haunt pretty much every A&T program of recent memory lol |

i believe because we were predicted to finish 8th, we "flew under the radar" until the last 5 or 6 games of the season. which to me means, we didn't have a target on our backs until the rest of the conference took us "seriously". once the conference saw that we weren't a "fluke", that's when we started getting everybody's "best shot" and to me, that's when we started "struggling".
the conference stepped their games up against us, so we need to step our games up to the "next level" if we wanna be successful in the tournament. our "b" game is no longer sufficient. we must now bring our "a" game in every game from here on out...

Halftime: W&M leads Stony Brook 34-27. *If W&M wins, we must win to remain the 4 seed. I believe we would have gotten the 4th seed, even if we would have lost and W&M had won, due to our head-to-head win. |

On the surface, would MUCH rather them than W&M since we only beat them by 2 & Hofstra is a 13 seed. On the other hand 1) Idk how we are gonna play because post-MEAC this time of the year has been our kryptonite 2) If Hofstra plays like they did today & like they did at Corbett a week ago, it won’t be smooth sailing. |

i don't care who we play, just bring 'em on! unlike last season, i believe we are "healthy" this year and i don't think our ladies are happy about finishing 4th cuz we held down 2nd place virtually all season long.
i sense that our ladies will be "very motivated" at the tournament cuz i don't think they're happy about how they finished the regular season. so i believe we will return to being the "hunters" during the tournament instead of being the "hunted" and that makes a big difference. i totally do not expect our ladies to struggle in their first tournament game against hofstra. they know what's at stake, they know that if they lose, then they're going home without "vindicating" themselves.
"psychologically", i like where our heads should be going into the tourney. i "definitely" do not expect a first round exit from our ladies...

another motivation for our ladies is that we currently have "19 wins", we need at least 1 more win to reach "20 wins". its minor, but its also "motivational"...
