It's been a long season for our team this year, but this win showed me that they are coming into their own. I look forward to great things in the years to come.

dang! are they playing this game so late at night (9pm) only to accommodate cbs? What time should the game have been played ? "before" 9pm. an 8pm or earlier start seems to be more reasonable...

Fam. It’s time for us to recognize Glasper. The Young Man is developing well and He hardly says a word.
As for me, every shot he takes “teardrop” type, I’m going to say “Wooosh”, like when “Bird “ Sparrow would shoot His Real Teardrop! I’m ready to wild-out at the games…Moore Gym style.
(Oh, as for the Women, Dorsey crossed-over a player in Corbett so badly that the Sister committed an intentional foul). I love this kind of’ish!

the team has far better "chemistry" now than earlier in the season. its pretty obvious to see that the overall team is far more comfortable playing with each other as well as executing the coach ross's system. its like "night and day" compared to last season relative to "structure and organization". last night we saw a "well coached" team, but more importantly, we saw a "well prepared" team.
unlike last season, our team knew "exactly" what to do during the critical closing seconds of the game. gone are the days that our team "squanders" a big lead with 53 seconds left with possession of the ball. this team clearly practices "special situations" like most college teams do. last year's team wouldn't know what a "special situation" is even if it stared them straight in the face. how "refreshing" it is to watch a coach during crutch time who knows what da hail he's doing! gone are the days of "street ball"! now we run a "disciplined" offense with screens being set and with good "ball movement". we have a friggin' real coach!!
and our aggie "greek freak" played his best game last night but the unsung hero (relative to the "greek freak" production) was shell. shell "split" defenders several times to find the "greek freak" open near the free throw area and the "greek freak" was "money" from there all night long.
but if it wasn't for shell's outstanding assists, the "greek freak" wouldn't have had the clean looks at the basket that he had last night. fortunately, the "greek freak" cashed in on those assists, he played a great game.
but that doggone shell? that dude is "lightening quick"! hampton didn't have anyone who could stay in front of shell last night. shell basically penetrated the lane "at will". man, that dude is fun to watch...

I love this kind of’ish! not only does glasper facially look a lot like kam woods, but he also plays a lot like kam woods except glasper is a bit more disciplined than woods. coach gives him a long leash, but not to the point that he's outta control. he's clearly our best scorer...

How well coached we are showed after Shell's shot was made to. The contrast between Hampton and A&T was apparant.
Nesbitt scored the goal and Hampton to include Nesbitt were celebrating going down the court.
Shell scored to take the lead and our players got back on defense versus celebrating.

Yeah, I noticed that difference between the two teams also. You have to remember the game isn't over until the clock strikes zero.

"One of the things that we do is that if a team scores against us late-game and there are five seconds or more left on the clock, we are going to take it and go because that's when the other team is most susceptible to a quick layup. I thought his recognition of the game clock and that he had time to score was absolutely phenomenal."

when you practice "special situations" in practice every day, the players already know what to do without having to call a timeout when only a few seconds remain in the game. contrast what shell did last night to what watson did last season with only 53 seconds left in the game.
because coach ross routinely practices "special situations", there is no way in hail that a coach ross coached player would've allowed a "5 second violation" or turned the ball over during a throw-in with only 53 seconds left cuz they would've known what to do even without the coach intervening. the proper protocol for a situation like that is to "call a timeout" if you're having trouble inbounding the ball. well last year, neither our inbounder (watson) nor our head coach had enuf sense to call a friggin' timeout!
if it seems as though i can't forget that "debacle" that happened last season, its because i can't!

Side note. I went to the Women’s Game and one of the Staff asked me “where are the Aggies “? I said that I thought that the new Conf affiliation may have some people sour.
I looked at the Mens game crowd shots and it needed more bodies.
Point blank. We/ our Teams must win just to keep any semblance of a cash cow program. I know that we are not NSU or Howard to them but Man…

Lastly, we are still doing a terrible job in being proactive in the marketing. We should be promoting games at least 5 days out.

One thing for sure, Coach Ross is going to be a winner...his 10+ years of CAA coaching is pretty evident!
Next up is getting the players that will suit his style....I estimate he is 3-4 impact players away

the refs probably didn't see it cuz they were probably too busy transitioning to the other end of the court. we ref's are "human", we sometimes make mistakes or simply don't see everything all the time. in high school, all of our games are video'd and each of our games are "reviewed" after the game is over. so i'm pretty sure they also do that in college and if so, i'm sure their commissioner(s) will point out to them that they missed it. the oversight probably would've been very "controversial" had we not scored and won the game...
