I know this isn't Duncan but... Kam Woods’ eligibility waiver denied by NCAA; NC State will appealIt wasn’t terribly surprising yesterday to learn that transfer guard Kam Woods had his waiver for immediate eligibility denied by the NCAA. Not that it’s ever easy to predict what the NCAA is gonna do, but after watching other players have so much trouble getting this waiver approved, I figured Woods’ odds of success were slim. NC State will appeal this ruling, of course, but there’s no telling how long that might take and there doesn’t seem much short of public outcry and the threat of legal action to get the NCAA to flip on these decisions. State is Woods’ third D-I school, after beginning his career at Troy and playing last year at NC A&T. A&T changed coaches during the offseason, which is a big part of Woods’ argument for playing at State right now. Seems good enough to rubber stamp a waiver approval as far as I’m concerned, but alas. www.backingthepack.com/nc-state-basketball/2023/11/23/23973764/kam-woods-eligibility-waiver-denied-by-ncaa-nc-state-will-appealOh well. He should have kept his butt with us but it’s his choice to transfer. Kids gotta stop choosing schools based off coaches and choose them based off the school environment.

Only Duncan seems to be doing well as a transfer. Marcus Watson did his ACL so I believe out for the season.

Didn't saabman come on here and tell us he was already getting a whole bunch of NIL money?
I could have sworn there were articles about him getting a 6 figure NIL deal before he even stepped foot on campus.

I think his first NIL deal was WORTH $500K, I he received atleast one more after that. I believe Coach Brown said it before that 98% of these athletes don't see hard cash from a NIL deal.

If he blew $500K in less than a year, he has bigger problems.

Pommie Harry's father provided this information .
Harry finally got cleared to play this week and has had 2 games averaging 13pts 60% from 3pt land and 7 blocks already. They just beat #3 in the country and this week's poll should have them in the top 5 in the NAIA. If you want to watch on demand follow this link , especially second half of the Georgetown game cumberlandspatriots.com/watch/?Live=786&type=Live . He is coming back to Greensboro to do his engineering Masters next season, but not sure who he will play for if anybody. He is really big (275lb) and the team are feeding him in the low post which he is finishing with dunks. If only when he was an Aggie, but that is now histroy. Next game on thursday and currently the Pats are 17-1 for the season.
