I'm SURE you meant: Did he play? The answer is No. And he scored 15 pts during the 2023-24 season. #GuessHeGotPaidThough

Pommie Harry's father provided this information . Harry finally got cleared to play this week and has had 2 games averaging 13pts 60% from 3pt land and 7 blocks already. They just beat #3 in the country and this week's poll should have them in the top 5 in the NAIA. If you want to watch on demand follow this link , especially second half of the Georgetown game cumberlandspatriots.com/watch/?Live=786&type=Live . He is coming back to Greensboro to do his engineering Masters next season, but not sure who he will play for if anybody. He is really big (275lb) and the team are feeding him in the low post which he is finishing with dunks. If only when he was an Aggie, but that is now histroy. Next game on thursday and currently the Pats are 17-1 for the season. NAIA is MUCH different from NCAA D1.

Did he score? NO! Did he PLAY? NO!!! He didn't get off the bench the whole tournament other than to stand up during time-outs. We believe he's in the doghouse for something, because when Keatts emptied his bench late vs UNC allowing the walk-ons, managers, & his own son to play, Woods stayed planted on the bench. Wonder if he'll be invited back next year or will it be school #5?

Harry has D1 experience and held his own against P5 competition when he was at A&T before hisinjuries. The problem was not Harry . The problem was TV who had know clue how to use his big men . Now we have a coach that seems to understand the use of big men, and Harry has rehab from his leg injuries and is producing. That's all I'm saying we need big men and I think Harry would be a good fit with the Greek.

A&T needs to do what Eaves failed to do for Coleman until his last year. Hire a legitimate big man coach. Coleman's talent rose tremendously his last year. A wasted three years. Ross may have one on staff, and just needs to recruit some big men with good upside/potential.

Harry's numbers
The Patβs have made it to the Sweet 16 of the NAIA National Tournament in Kansas City. Harry had a double double in round 1 and was a defensive beast in round 2 with 9 boards and 5 blocks. Cumberlands have a good shot at being National Champions. All the best. Nick

And I'm not that high on how much he held his own D1 competition...especially not P5.

Why we're even talking about Woods or Harry is mystifying to me. When I clicked on this thread, I was hoping there was NEW news from the transfer portal that may be of benefit to us. Oh well, that's what I get for hoping....

Oh well, that's what I get for hoping.... The Basketball Transfer Portal just opened. A lot of intriguing names are popping up in there early.

That's fine......but why we're talking about Woods and Harry on this thread makes no sense to me. Because they are former Aggie Basketball players that transferred in 2023...though I'm not sure how that works for Harry. I guess he would still be considered a transfer.
