I believe he was a grad assistant who worked primarily with the quarterbacks. I wonder if Coach Marsh is bringing in his own guy for that role this year. Yep. GA working primarily with QBs, if not exclusively.

man, if i thought that coach mattes had head coaching skills, i'd luv to have him as our head coach. but i don't know that he's cut out to be a head coach or whether he even aspires to become a head coach. he "seems" to be happy just being our oline coach but i can't help but wonder what kinda head coach he would be, he certainly has "paid his dues"...

In my experience writing JDs, it can be tedious and when you’re rushing to get someone hired, something like that can happen. It won’t deter candidates as much as the salary will. In fact, I don’t think many people are reading JDs in this current climate. Every job opening is getting hundreds of under qualified and underwhelming candidates.

As somebody who dealt with the hiring process in government on the federal side… You send what will absolutely clear the certification to get the ad out fast. I have had positions get stuck in limbo over a couple of words… 90% of the ad is just word salad anyway…the individual know what it’s going to be. Props to A&T getting this out fast. I don’t recall them ever moving this quick recently.
