Does he want to be the dominant FCS program in NC or does he want to coach the potentially most dominant FCS program in NC. It’s almost starting to look like he’s trying to position himself to move to Greensboro when Wash hangs up his whistle. Saturday might tell us a whole lot. Know I doubt that is the case . I don't see Mentor getting the same $$$ ( ask and they will provide) support at A&T that he is gett6 at Campbell. He is in a Deion type situation at Campbell but Mentor is not a Limelight Seeker . So Campbell is the ideal spot for him to build a program his own way . With a AD , Administration , Community Fanbase and Big Donors that Support and have his back . He has sold Campbell on his Vision of FCS dominants by using the Ap state blueprint. Dominant the FCS programs in and Out Of State,Conference ,make deep runs in the FCS Playoffs or even Win a FCS Championship/Championships . Us all of these stages has leverage in Recruiting the best In and Out Of State Football Talent. Nah I don't see him entertaining or auditioning for a potential move to A&T regardless what happens with Washington . Some will use the $$$ everyone has a price angle. But I don’t THINK that Mentor is that kind of Guy . Depends on what he's looking for cousin. The key word in my statement is potential. There's a lot we don't have, but our potential is exponential. GHOE. The largest hbcu in the nation. We just had a top ranked track program so we've shown what can happen if we decide to actually do something. Campbell's got a ton of money but they'll never truly have soul. The man's already built one program from absolutely nothing. Could be looking for his next challenge. But that's total conjecture on my part stemming from me looking at the way he's hyping up our game from a different perspective. Back to the game itself, it should be a good one, but I'm hoping it's a snoozer and they're out of it by halftime.

I agree that it would be great if he did move to A&T after Washington Tour of Duty ends . But the feel I got from talking with him when my niece/ your cousin Denise Ford shipp was inducted into their Campbell's Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. We talked for about and hour about both my nephew he was trying to recruit to Campbell and his Vision for there Football program. He gave me the impression that he was not there to leave until he had fulfilled his ultimate vision of making Campbell into a football power in the ranks of FCS Football. Or until they released him of his CHARGE.

I'm not saying it would be great if he moved to T, I'm just theorizing that may be the intent behind him hyping the matchup. As far as his vision of making Campbell into a football power in the ranks of FCS football, he's gotten pretty close. He's helped get them an invite to the CAA. What's left?
What'd you think of him on a personal level when you met him?

What'd you think of him on a personal level when you met him? 😆 it was funny I was standing right next to him and didn't even know who he was . We were just talking about sports period not a thing about football . We didn’t introduce ourselves until I pointed TT's son out to him and said he plays football and basketball and baseball . He asked me was I related to TT and the introduced himself 😆 to me he seem to be a real low-key type of person and quite approachable but a quiet demeanor. And and it's funny that he was knowledgeable about all the sports on the campus not just football. A number of students passed by and spoke to him as we were talking and he knew their names and what sports they participating in . A father of a kid pointed out to his child that mentor played professional football and when the father start asking him questions he changed the subject to what was going on with Campbell's football team and what Pro Prospects he felt he had on the team. I don't think he likes tooting his own horn. He's a real nice dude . What I think he's doing is sending A&T a signal that Campbell is coming to town not only to win a football game but to get a foothold on recruiting in that area that is basically stronger than the position they are in now Win or Lose .

HERO SPORTSFCS Week 9 Predictions: Campbell at North Carolina A&TThese two are 2-0 in the Big South standings alongside Gardner-Webb. Interestingly, Campbell and NC A&T have accepted invites to the CAA and will head there next season while the Big South and OVC combine for one football auto-bid. NC A&T is rolling after an 0-3 start, winning four games in a row. Campbell is 4-3 overall, including an impressive 48-18 win over NC Central (a team A&T lost to in the season-opener). Campbell battled Top 10-ranked Jackson State to a 22-14 loss last week. Campbell will have to contain Bhayshul Tuten, who is already up to 776 rushing yards and six TDs in seven games. It will also have to knock off an NC A&T team playing in front of a Homecoming crowd. I’m having second thoughts on my pick earlier this week when we recorded the FCS ALL-IN show (Fridays on ESPN+), but I’ll stick with it and pick Campbell. I think the Camels can control the game in the trenches. Prediction: Campbell 28-24 herosports.com/fcs-week-9-predictions-fordham-holy-cross-idaho-sac-state-bzbz/

FYI, lots of scamming going on this year with the game ticket (and other GHOE tickets) selling. Please be cautious of purchasing tickets (including from football players smh). I really wish we would come up with a more secure ticketing method. I know a few people already that have loss out on $50-$100 due to the scamming. That’s not Aggie Pride for sure..

Can you provide some specific examples of what's happening with the tickets?

Us beating Campbell on tomorrow will shut up a lot of JSU fans.
As you may know, I’ve been in the ticketing game a long time…ever since I finished at ‘Tee in ‘81. I don’t know the specifics of what’s happening with their GHOE game tickets, but this is just a word to be cautious buying tickets out on the secondary and underground markets nowadays.

Especially on the Aggies FB page , I’ve seen a lot of foolishness and prayed that no one would fall for the scam…

There have apps out there now that can basically duplicate a ticket to the T even watermarks can be duplicated. Gone are the days of the cut paste copy/ scan print sale. I always check the ticket serial numbers even if they come from Ticketmaster to check for duplications . If you're buying second hand tickets/scalper tickets check the ticket closely for duplicated serial numbers especially if you purchase two or more . Even if you are purchasing one ask the scalper to provide you with three tickets and look at the serial numbers on each ticket, if they are all the same tell them no thanks . Never by a single ticket from a Scalper unless he has been a reliable source and you know him but even that is not guaranteed. But you will know where to go to get your money back 😆🤣😂
