As we turn a collective eye toward this upcoming weekend known as GHOE, I am hopeful that our beloved Aggies (alums, students, players, coaches and fans) are not entering this weekend with an air of overconfidence.
Yes, our Aggies have won 4 straight games, albeit against opponents with a combined record of 6 wins against 22 losses. I pray there is a renewed focus on discipline & execution & innovative play calling & personnel this Saturday.
Campbell is coming into the game peeved that they took an L against Coach Walkonwater and his Disciples & are looking to take it out on us.
First, they (their alums, fans, players, coaches and students)do not respect the HBCU's & were appalled that they lost to JSU, a team the ESPN analytics prognosticators gave a 13% chance of beating Campbell!
Second, they're coming into Aggie Stadium eager to prove that we ARE NOT worthy of the Media Day accolades and preseason #1 selection. Don't be fooled by coach mint's "love" talk for HBCU football. They believe it's an inferior brand of football (& education), & will seek to embarrass us Just as they did NCCU.
Our boys will have to play a near flawless game & hydrate & get plenty of rest to keep up with their tempo. Can our o-line withstand the relentless pressure they'll bring? Can our d-line handle their mammoth & athletic o-line? Who will match up with their receivers & their NFL caliber tight end? Above all else, what's the scheme to stop their QB, arguably the most athletic QB we've seen & will see this season?
And...For those of us who are talking about our Aggies making the playoffs, coach mint has stated that HIS squad, not our Aggies, will represent the Big South in the FCS playoffs. I know that is what he's supposed to say as their coach, yet I pray that our team plays that complete game for 4 quarters that's been elusive for awhile.
I am praying for the best, but the data analyst in me is concerned...As much as some of you are foaming at the mouth over the DB coach, our secondary is still suspect. Don't think for a moment Campbell won't come out tossing the football, mixed with some RPO's.
Peeps, sneak in some airplane bottles. We may need them.

Thier TE is their best offensive weapon. I assume out coaches know this. It still bothers me.

They have more weapons than the TE. Malik El-Hajj Williams WILL hurt us if we don't scheme for him!

Campbell uses all of there offensive weapons in there passing game they also have 3 RB's that are not to be underestimated. One of them is from the Greensboro area. Campbell's best weapons on both sides of the ball is there O and D lineman and how they play . There D-line front rushed an still collapse the pocket on Sanders . O and D line play is what is worrying me the most . Also there receivers are very fast and quick.

I said it almost 2 months ago when the moderator here relegated my post to the "general sports talk" section when they took NCCU out back & hazed them like some 1980's pledges. Like it or not, unless our Aggies play like that 12-0 Broadway team, this GHOE will be uglier than last year's debacle vs Monmouth. Our DB's & LB's better be ready for action because the QB & RB's WILL penetrate into the secondary because we're too small up front to stop them at the line of scrimmage. Jermaine McDaniel would be a free safety on their defense, & we count on him to be a stopper. Our usual posters are quiet on this topic, as it is my Guesstimation that they realize that this is an ugly homecoming draw... I expect minter to try to run the score up on us if he can. The "We love the HBCU culture" & "We're going to listen & watch the band at halftime" talk has been ABSENT. Our Aggies better act like they know!

If we are All Business (like at points this season, and on certain drives), we will Smoke them. I just want this Team to finally play to a Sell-out on the East Side.

Combined opponents record of Campbell’s 4 wins is 8-20.
Put the ball down.

I don't really know where to start here but: 1. Our running game is gonna be a PROBLEM for Campbell (see how we ran against both NDSU and puke's starters) 2. Based on what Coach Oliver said, NCCU was not fittin' & fillin' like they were supposed to in he 1st half of their game with Campbell. 3. I expect we'll do much better. 4. We've given Robertson, Porcher & Hairston run at DT. 5. Unfortunately, Kaba hurt his ankle against EWU. We'll see if he's back for GHOE. 6. I was hoping Allen (58) would have gotten some run against RMU but I didn't see him. 7. King-Leverett (92) got some run at DE so I expect he'll be an additional option. He looks like he's gonna be a stud. 8. I still haven't seen Pittman (93) since puke. Hope he's back for GHOE. 9. Our tall receivers are gonna be a problem for Campbell. Especially with Zack back! 10. I hope/expect our defensive line and overall speed will be our ticket.
Let's GHOE!

We will win.
I expect it to come down to the 4th quarter. The key to the game will be halftime adjustments.

It would be of great benefit to us if we threw 5 to 10 yard passes to our running backs and TEs. Every pass doesn't have to be 20 or 30 yards down field!!

The Pregame locker room should be crazy, with Former Players checking in.
I believe that it will not be close. Zach and Berk, together!! And the rest! Smh. Give me that one on one any day. I forgot how Bad Zach is!
Roberts! Plus our pass defense…smh. Let us put it all together and Man…

I believe this one's actually gonna come down to the qbs. I'm probably wrong. I usually am on these types of things. But I feel whichever qb screws up least will be the qb of the winning team.

I want us to strip Campbell’s Qb holding the ball like a loaf of bread. Sinister 6 may be salivating.
Looking back, Fowler has been throwing a nice “swing pass “ type of ball. ( For 5 or so yards. Sometimes we break it for more).
