I don’t blame them. I think the goal was to not make this game last longer than it should. I don’t fault them from coming out flat in the 3rd qtr as it’s human nature. You don't come out flat when your motive is to dominate, no fighter does that. Campbell played JSU to the last second, Minter will insist. Both our football coach and our band director don’t have a DOMINATE bone in their bodies.

In fact, didn’t the band have a show called Aggie Arrogance?

WCA, have you ever coached? The coach’s job is to fight “human nature”. Coach a sports team? No. Manage a team for an EdTech company that’s worth billions? Absolutely. Your answer explains a lot.

Then you should know that there is no slacking off of your projected goal regardless if the project is almost completed. No different than football or in coaching ,You compete to the end . Don't get it twisted Coaching and subordinate production is no different then in the corporate world , where understanding and fighting against human nature is Paramount.

LOL Of course not. However, these people are human and are subject to doing what humans do. Not to mention, I don’t have to manage 18-24 year olds whose arrogance is as high as it’s gonna get.

In my eyes, we Smoked Them! We put the game away by halftime! We did enough to keep them under control, we did not fall to the chippy-ness and our Stars didnt get hurt.
We had a Good Problem. We went from having to keep the ball vs SCSU -on the last drive-, to Smoking two Teams in a Row. This Team now knows how to be All Business...

Yeah, there are some bad takes up here, but complaints about leading 30-0 at halftime and the final score being 38-14 is way up there…

I can't believe yall are dinging the OC for not opening up the playbook with a 30 point lead a week before our biggest game of the year. SMH. I ain't a huge fan if our OC but geez. It was easy to see we were just finishing out that game cause it was a wrap. Wow! Aggie fans are what they sa we are. I'm much more satisfied with our OC now. He is doing a LOT of different things than what I'd seen early this year and last year. We're gonna be very hard for Campbell to handle with our running game, 3 6'4 WRs, variety of formations, varieties of personnel, etc. I would go through the many things I've seen but ain't got time to mess with y'all since I don't believe most of you will get it. That said, I'll point out 3 of several things from the RMU game: 1. The 1st TD. Moved Leslie from the outside right to the edge of the formation, stopped/hesitated him, snapped the ball in the I-formation lineup and faked to the tailback going back to the side Leslie came from with the whole offensive line flowing that way. Meanwhile, Leslie continues across the formation to the other side. If he was being covered man-to-man I expect the DB got caught up in all the traffic. If they were in zone, I expect the far side CB flowed with the run fake. Leslie continued and came out of the formation WIDE OPEN! 2. Lining Tuten up outside behind Leslie with the Grave Digger as the tailback. Threw to Tuen once for a nice gain. He's a better runner the WR's we've tried it with. I wish the OC would held the next thing they did in that formation but they faked Leslie blocking and the throw to Tuten. After Leslie faked, he took off down the sideline and was WIDE OPEN! Granted, Fowler needs to make sure he doesn't get the ball to whoever it is too late as the safety has a chance to get over there, like what we saw. 3. Running several draw plays with both Tuten and the Grave Digger. They'll slow Campbell's pass/run defense up. Don't remember seeing any draw plays before yesterday. Even if there were, we ran at least 3 so Campbell will be on notice/slower to come hard. BONUS: We've, now shown propensity to throw to our TE inn the middle of the field/etc. Unfortunately, Fowler has thrown both middle of the field passes behind the TE. Both times, the middle of the field was WIDE OPEN. Good thing is Campbell will have to be ready for it now. Let's GHOE!
