NORTH CAROLINA A&T AGGIES (3-3, 1-0 Big South): The Aggies come into Saturday's game on a three-game winning streak after defeating Edward Waters 45-7 last Saturday. All three wins during the Aggies latest streak have come at home. The Aggies are looking for their first road win of the season as they return to Big South Conference play for the first time in three weeks as they travel to face Robert Morris in Moon Township, Pa. The Aggies were 1-2 on the road in the Big South last season.
A year ago, in their first meeting ever, the Aggies defeated RMU 41-14 at Truist Stadium. Quarterback Jalen Fowler had an excellent game, throwing for 206 yards, two touchdowns and one interception on 15-for-20 passing. A year ago, it was his best passing percentage (.750) of the season. Running back Bhayshul Tuten scored from 18 yards out in the game, and Amir McNeill had six solo tackles and two pass breakups. Tuten comes into Saturday's a more high-profile player, having made the Walter Payton Watch List for the postseason award that determines the best FCS offensive player in the nation this past week. On the defensive end, the Aggies have forced nine turnovers during the three-game winning streak, including seven interceptions.
