Wow.......CAA, Memphis.....this is a lot to process. However, change is rarely comfortable. I pray our continued holistic success and growth as a University.

“We are just as strong and competitive as we were before, and I think that for us to continue to hold the legacy, the culture that we have … we can still give our fans the competitive great games that we’ve always given without feeling like we have to assimilate to predominantly white conferences.” -Meac Comish Lol she told us😂 LOL I was brushing off the salt when I read that! We will have to put our foot deep in some HBCU arse to maintain our HBCU respect athletically!

To be fair, that was two separate quotes at different times. That wasn’t in direct response to our move to the CAA.

Man, Koach Jones is fighting to keep his job. What else would we expect his public reaction to be?

Koach didn't wait to start planting those recruiting seeds with high school coaches immediately.

Am I the only one that sees a conference football championship game in the CAA's future. With changes to the NCAA and more autonomy being given to divisions and conferences I think changes will take place at the FCS level that will enable conference championship games.

You usually only have football championship games if you think it can generate revenue. I dont think the CAA has enough fan support to justify adding an extra game - especially right before the FCS playoffs.

It would be the only way if you have two divisions .. you can’t crown a champion with two divisions and people don’t play each other. It would be all out Armageddon. Money will be a problem as long as they have Flo Sports having exclusive rights. Because a championship game in the CAA would def warrant tv exposure. Either way they have to do it and I suppose it would be played around the dc area. Btw I wonder about the decision making of Flo Sports with that caliber of football conference. Who in their right mind would make such a bonehead decision to have a streaming website have exclusive rights. That will never ever make sense to me.

They are about playoff bids. We need to get our weight up for bids.
