I'm heading down Saturday morning with my ride decked out in Aggie paraphernalia. Just want the team to play error-free football and be disciplined against the triple-option that Furman runs.
As much as I would love to win 45-10, I think it's going to be a tough game. If Furman beats us - fine. I just don't want us to beat us (ie. unnecessary penalties, turnovers, etc).

Sheesh, the Charlotte area is jam packed with football this weekend
ECU/App St - Thursday
Duke/Charlotte - Friday
Clemson/UGA - Saturday
I love this time of year
But its all Aggies (while keeping my eye on AAMU/SCSU) this weekend

I just wanted to welcome all A&T fans to Furman Saturday...It's a great venue in a pretty spectacular setting...I am looking forward to this game, primarily because most SoCon and Furman folks know A&T is good...Being an App State grad, we found that out nearly everytime we played y'all...There were some great games in that series...Anyway, coach Clay Hendrix was responsible for y'all as an opponent as we found out last week at the summer scrimmage...He said he wanted to play someone good like the competition that Furman will face in the SoCon...This is seemingly the perfect game...I think A&T is an outstanding football program...I remember a guy named Maurice Hicks one time rushed for like 400 yds in a game...It may well have been against SC State or Morgan State...Not sure which...Anyway, everyone travel safe and cheer loud and enjoy the game. Thx soconjohn9. It was against SCSU that Hicks put up the 400+ yds in Bank of America Stadium. Looking forward to the game! Roy, being the assistant SID at the time it happened - gotta correct you on this. November 17, 2001 - Hicks rushed for 353 at Bank of America Stadium and scored six td's in a 66-14 win. He rushed for 437 yards at Morgan State University in a 52-42 loss on October 6, 2001. |

I might log onto their site and ask which 6'5 receiver they're talking about and let them know that the issue will be which 6'4 (1), 6'3 (2), 6'2 (1) and 6'0 (4) receivers they'll be able to handle. #WeLoaded #RunByU We can say the same about any of our players. The fact is there are many great FCS players, contrary to popular belief not all great players play only at FBS schools. |

When we played at SC State in the playoffs a few years ago there were 3 takeaways.
1. The smell from the grills was maddening.
2. The band just isn’t anywhere in the same league as the ones back in the 80’s. That was disappointing.
3. The team wasn’t very good.
With A&T I’m expecting #1 to be the same. Maybe not #2 since a friend of mine was there 4 years ago and said the band was still pretty serious. Team wise, I’m sure they are OK, but Jackal has convinced me that we are good. If we are in fact good, we will win easily.
I love the honest assessment of the SC State team

Related to being able to say the same about your players, those I pointed out are the ones that are either returning starters (4), returner that has played (1), FBS transfers (2) or and a new one that we see great promise on, so far. Related to our 6'5 players, they are more than likely behind the 8 I referenced, though we see great promise in one of them and you all might see him on Saturday. Maybe the other one too, depending on how the game goes. #WeLoaded |

Hi guys ,I purchased 2 tickets and a parking pass for the upcoming game ,unfortunately due to my wife having surgery this past Thursday we will not be able to attend the game . I am willing to let the tickets and parking (a $60 value) go for $40 to anyone who wants them . I live in the Greensboro area ,so if anyone is interested please PM me and we can meet up to make the transaction .

Thanks guys ,even though I would have paid whatever to watch on whatever platform necessary ,it's a blessing to be able to watch on local TV ,especially for those who may not have internet access or cable or a dish .
