Coach has a complex defense, where guys have to cover ground. The team befuddled NCCU in Durham I think it was.

But he does not believe that , because that means that no players position is defined or Set in Stone and can rotate into any of the 5 positions . That is the impression that I got and what I have heard from other coaches as the definition . He said it in the context of what players can expect to be ready for coming to A&T. His ideal player is 6'6 to 6'8 and can run, jump, shoot, rebound, play full court defense and handle the ball. It may or may not be sustainable in mid-major college basketball, but until you get 8-10 guys with that talent level, you still have to find a way to win ball games. He may actually think he's close with this year's group. The problem with this is that you have 6’10’s and 7 footers who can do this. |

Agree 100% A&T already have those athletes in the fold ( 6'6" , 6'8" , 6'10" and 7" ) that can fill those roles but Jones has no idea how to use them that is the real problem . |

We complain because we (Aggies) always think we can do better. Over the years I've tried to limit my complaints for the dumb stuff... like our brown stadium grass, our DB's in the UNC-C game letting receivers get behind them late in the game, our sorry athletic marketing effort, the lack of band student scholarships and long lines at the concession stands in Aggie Stadium!

Well we can do better we need a real men basketball coach period with real vision. The current housing on campus that is; is a matter of lack of vision and focus. Instead of building a student activity center Arlee Court area why not build a muti story dormitory perhaps coed istead. |

Well we can do better we need a real men basketball coach period with real vision. The current housing on campus that is; is a matter of lack of vision and focus. Because they are breaking ground on a new dormitory off of Bluford St. And why are we so quick to pull the trigger on Coach Jones? He has YET to have a "normal" year under his belt. I will say this; Duke University would not be 5x National Basketball Champions if they pulled the plug on Coach K after two years. Not saying we are going to win national chips but imo we have not given this man a chance yet. Nevermind the fact that he has a winning overall record and more than held his own in the MEAC. Let's see what he does in this new environment. |
