Exciting and fresh has nothing to do with FBS. It has everything to do with who you perceive your primary market to be. If you perceive your market to be those of us who sit right below the press box at Truist Stadium, then your approach may be a little more conservative than it should be. A&T has been "wine and cheese" for a long, long time. Don't think that doesn't translate in some ways as to how we go to market. Let me start by saying...I love almost everything Chancellor Martin has done for A&T but... he doesn't know crap about marketing. He's an engineer and I don't think he values marketing. Unfortunately I don't think we will ever improve our marketing under him. Plus that isn’t his job...he pays the AD a lottt of money to run all aspects of athletics to include marketing. A&T is doing a heck of a job marketing it’s academic side now...that is the real money maker.

With the Capital Campaign essentially complete, at a recent meeting he hinted that Athletics is next on his agenda as far as funding is concerned and with that I think marketing will ultimately get more resources.

Imma just put this right... www.wlbt.com/2021/02/18/espn-feature-jsu-first-take-black-history-month/If we aren't proactive, this JSU train could wind up running us over before we know it. They have cornered the HBCU sports market and everything WE should be getting, they are gladly taking. We've got to figure out a way to saturate the market with A&T content. Couple minute clip on track, or inside look at WBB. And yes even during this pandemic it's possible to be done safely.

All this A&T sports today got me like... But we do need to find a way of getting this out more externally. It will be easier once we move to the Big South Digital Network. But we can make a better effort to do it now.

Twitter example: College of Charleston is tweeting every 3-4 minutes from today's baseball game.
We have at least a half dozen things going on today. LOL

This is how much the MEAC website covers bowling. They've play almost 40 games and this is what is posted on meacsports.com today? The conference website is a hot mess

I would like to take a moment a send a special shout out to my guy Brian Holloway, SID, at T. This weekend as well as next weekend will be some of the most congested I can remember in Aggie Athletics.
However, this weekend alone, all sports teams in action were available for consumption via some form of media.
MBB, Spencer Turkin was on the call in Tallahassee, via ncataggies.com live.
WBB, Donal Ware was on the call in Norfolk, via ncataggies.com live
SB, Brian Holloway was on the call from the Aggie Softball Complex, via ncataggies.com live, with a legit 3-4 camera setup for a great viewing experience, definitely looking forward to home SB and BB games for remainder of season.
Bowling was available via Facebook Live to watch the MEAC roundup.
BB, Live stats were available via the College of Charleston, sorry but he just ran out of guys.
But just want to say, and we should all give credit where it is due to our athletic department doing what they can to provide access to our sports team and by the way this was all FREE.99. FREE.99. FREE.99
We are quick to say when something falls short of what believe it should and their pages upon pages of that type sentiment, let's have the enthusiasm when something extraordinary happens and that's the coverage provided by our athletic department this weekend.
This type effort and more requires funding and I encourage us all to give, give, give, whenever you can, and help support the efforts of our athletic department. This is weekend was a great start to what we can expect going forward and moving into the Big South. Now is the opportunity to work out kinks and get ready for the fall.
I thoroughly enjoyed going from one game to the next all weekend long.
Again, KUDOS to the department that is doing so much with so little, I just wish i was still down to help out in any capacity whatsoever.

My only problem is who's responsible for getting this information out? I come to Blue Death Valley site so much because you guys post links for sporting events. There should be a list published every Sunday and posted on social media.
