More likely i will buy Harry a ticket to fly home. Even when Web fouls out Harry still sits. Really no point in him being in Greensboro. Pommie - Don't do that. Harry is going to be an excellent player with more time and experience. Their center was just a bit much for him at this point. This team has a lot of assets and prep for conference play is the main objective. I agree. Looking back at the play-by-play... Cork scored the first 6 pts of the 2nd half for WCU. Their main 2nd half adjustment was to space the floor and iso Cork on Harry. And Harry was giving up too much ground. And we couldn't switch to zone because WCU would have shot our lights out. In this game... Web gave us what we needed to give us a chance in the 2nd half. And several guys rode the pine tonight, including Blake Harris for the entire 2nd half & OT. Tyler Jones played 2 minutes across the 4 & 5 spots. This is one of the better teams we'll play. There will be good nights & tough nights. But we can't quit halfway to a Mechanical Engineering degree and a lot of development left to take place. And bigs always take more time to develop than guards. I love Harry. I want him to graduate from A&T with that ME degree. And I want him to continue developing. It IS a process.

This reminds me of the old Chris Tucker joke about having two things that don’t match.
When the squad gives maximum effort and defends like crazy, we give up offensive rebounds and 2nd chance points.
When the guys execute the offense and earn foul calls, the solid free throw shooting disappears (WHICH WAS THE SURPRISE OF THE SEASON SO FAR).
I’m baffled about the decision to keep Harry on the bench when Webster was playing in foul trouble against those soft bigs. At least you can play him and preserve Webster’s fouls!
Overall the issue is consistency. If this was 40 minutes of Hell with Nolan, I could see using 9-10 players. But it’s not, and now A&T is running out of games to settle the rotation.
Team health is an obvious concern and you would think the back-to-back days of conference games would help because A&T plays a lot of guys. The problem is there is have no backup point guard and if Kam falls, it would sink the Titanic.
I am not a “the sky is falling” poster, because this team is loaded with talent. Scoring that many points just from Kam, Kwe and Q Jones was amazing to watch. It is frustrating to see repeated mistakes not get corrected though.
Western Carolina destroyed this team last year and was on its way to doing it again, but A&T fought back is much, much better.

As I stated In the last game. #4 is my favorite player and should never leave the floor. He is hungry

We only play 3 teams, NCCU, SCSU and FAMU, all four times, twice each on back to back nights (Sat and Sun). I wouldn’t discount Morgan and NSU’s ability to be teams to be reckoned with tourney time.

Together the two centers played 27 minutes, 12 and 15 minutes each. So it looks like Jones is splitting Harry and Webster’s time and putting Q Jones on the block, he’s so big it’s hard to move him off. Great adjustment. Looks like both centers will do well in MEAC play as most MEAC bigs will have similar skill levels and athleticism. We are still a low level D1, low mid-major program talent and skill wise.

D The problem why does it seem like Jones is going out of his way to hamper or even destroy Harry's confidence or am I just seeing things ? Bigs learn differently then other positions Bigs learn by being on the floor That how they know how to physically position their body and cut off angles things that people don't see and can't be learned from setting on there Bum . Bigs are hands on Blue Collar players that can't be developed from the bench . It not just Harry either Greer the 7 footer needs floor time, hale that's how Phil Jackson played when he was with the Knicks he learned OJT . Look I'm not harping just to put down Jones by with his coaching style right both Harry and Greer's development is being stunned. If Harry was in foul trouble or close to it Greer should have been on the floor even if all he did was bang on the WC player and who knows what could have been . This type of coaching is just inappropriate and WANTING and I was a Jones fan but no more dude just can't cut it at this level .
