Run Jones's scheme.....what scheme? Look, Jones has gotta formulate a scheme around what he has.....not what he wishes. I didn't see a talent deficiency on TV tonight......I see a preparation deficiency.

Keep on hanging your hat on recruiting......if a top-100 freshman class runs this same sheeetty offense, we'll still end up losing to anybody we play against. You can't "out-talent" well disciplined basketball teams. While true, the consensus is this is occurring because we don't have the stretch 3 and stretch 4 needed to run Jones' scheme to perfection on offense and defense. Well, according to multiple recruiting sights, Duncan Powell and Chase McDuffie fit those molds. Are those 2 going to play the entire game? Nobody on this years roster will be able to run like that...those same players will be on next years roster too. Additionally, what will they do when other teams slow the game down and get back on defense after a made shot.

It’s easy to defend dribblers that can’t shoot. If they can pass don’t leave your man and make Kam shoot...,duhhh! Then if he misses we have no rebounders because it looks like on the shot everybody runs back on defense rather than rebound. Absolutely no offense rebound boxouts!

There in lies the problem we don’t have 2 athletic stretch 4’s to run that 3/4 quarter trap....You have to adjust to your current personnel Or go out and recruit talent in order to do it. The freshmen coming in 21 can do it, it seems. We say that every year " player's coming in next year can do this or that " hell we said that about a lot of the players on the team now . Jones has to earn his money and step up and coach . Look A&T has a talented team but as if the moment our HC is letting has players down by not identifying and scheming to their strengths that's what good coaches do . No we don't have the high flying Optics from last year but we do have the talent if given the opportunity and placed in the right system . Also all this dog gone dribbling and jacking up threes needs to be addressed along with there inability to block out when going for rebounds . All of that is on the coaches.

I saw the same thing,we rebound better on defense because guys are going after the rebound ,but like you said ,as soon as we shoot the ball everybody turns to run back down court .

Thank God we are on track to sign a Top-100 Freshman Class and are a few pieces away from building our own Fab-5. Keep on hanging your hat on recruiting......if a top-100 freshman class runs this same sheeetty offense, we'll still end up losing to anybody we play against. You can't "out-talent" well disciplined basketball teams. Could you repeat that in CAPS please!!!

Will someone refresh my memory, how many games has Longwood won this year? And we're down 19 points to them! In terms of rebounds, block shots and offense, where are our big guys? I don't have a good feeling about this team... ON THE BENCH!! We are playing Small ball and putting on a dribbling Clinic .

I hope we can run with these 5 starters for a good 7 - 10 minutes before we start substituting I need Harry to give us 3 straight solid games. He plays good against the bigger teams, but not so well against the smaller, quicker teams. Play big, don't bring the ball down & hit the shots that are there so we can put this thing to bed. #BeatLongwood Hell Durham who can Harry give us a solid game when Jones pulls him even when he is playing good . You can't get production from a big if he is not on the floor !!

It took time for Jones to figure last year’s squad out, too. At least there is way more talent here than than last year’s debacle at UNCG. I actually am looking forward to that game. On to Richmond. THis team has less talent than last year...what are you watching? This team needs to be coached the talent is their , THE COACHING IS WHAT IS MISSING .

Harry played 8 minutes..........A 6”11 guy is not gone come in and be able to make significant contributions like a guard might heat up... this is so wrong 😑

Man our men's basketball program is snakebit. We either have the right talent and the wrong coach or the wrong talent and right coach. We just can't get this game figured out. I say " we have both " We have the talent but the coach is not identifying and playing to his players strengths . We have the wrong talent for what our coach is trying to do . If Jones continues to coach this way in the MEAC and not developing a system that plays to our players abilities losing games will not be his only problem he will lose the players confidence in his coaching abilities.

Harry played 8 minutes..........A 6”11 guy is not gone come in and be able to make significant contributions like a guard might heat up... this is so wrong 😑 That's BS a 6'11" guy can turn a game around just as easily as a 6' guard or guards that dribble all day and try to one up each other by playing 1 on 5 . Harry should at least touch the ball every possession on offense but that is not the case here . You had open mid range looks all night because the packed the lane but we don't have the 3 point shooters Hell Harry is better from the 3 point line then both our starting guards but every time he shoots one it seems like Jones pulls out his hook. There is know way that a 6'11" player with Harry's up side should only be playing 8 minutes. Keep this BS up and Harry's going to be Ghost.

I think things will turn around when the team realizes that it has the talent to compete but it just may not be exciting like the dunk patrol from last year. The team is not the problem, THE PROBLEM IS THE UNACCEPTABLE COACHING ! The players already know that they have talent they just need the coaches to schema system that fit's their playing strengths

Sets are bad because their looking for the alley hoop like last season. Teams are guarding the baseline and not leaving their man to block Kam’s shot and There is nowhere to go with the ball. I’m no D1 coach but passing in and out if the post might open things up. Worse than the sets is the lack of rebounding and scrappiness. Harry can shoot the 3 if given the opportunity then that will open up the Lane . You can shoot anything if you can get the ball in your hands .
