Maybe you all knew this. But I thougt we was playing WSSU for Labor Day weekend instead we playing Wake forest. I would rather had played WSSU first as a warmup before we play Wake forest. Also I did not know furman was coming to A&T 2025.

Can't run with the big dogs by staying on the porch. I just hope to be around to see all these games.

Oh wow...we are serious about being a FCS power. Dukes Add Three Future Non-Conference GamesTwo opponents James Madison has never played before are scheduled to visit Bridgeforth Stadium in the coming years. On Tuesday, the Dukes announced future non-conference home games against fellow FCS opponents Presbyterian, Norfolk State and North Carolina A&T. JMU has no history with Presbyterian or North Carolina A&T. And the Aggies, who are slated to trek to Harrisonburg on Sept. 6, 2025, are the headliner of that bunch. They’ve put together eight straight winning seasons dating back to 2011 and captured five Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference titles since then. North Carolina A&T has either played in the Celebration Bowl or the FCS playoffs in each of the last five years. But the program is preparing to transition, having announced earlier this year it’ll move from the MEAC to the Big South Conference this summer. To kick off the 2025 season, JMU opens against Norfolk State on Aug. 30. The Dukes are 2-0 all-time against the in-state Spartans, a MEAC member, and are also tabbed to host them in 2022. My guess is we'll see JMU in the playoffs before this 2025 tilt.

Hence the urgency to lock something down. I dont know how the majority of the fanbase is gonna take us not playing HBCUs as OOC games, especially since Hilton & Co. Sold the Big South move promising those match-ups. I think cementing a deal with NCCU will help that and give the fanbase some familiarity during this transition period WCA, on what year(s) do we have the bonus week?

Definitely ‘24 and ‘25, I believe. I’ve also heard Fall 2021 will allow for 12 games. However, i’m not sure about that. Either way, there’s a rumor we got a big HBCU game coming through the pipeline. I just hope that contract gets signed.

I wonder if we are going to be able to schedule another game in 2021, since Charleston Southern becomes a conference opponent.
For the 2024 out of conference schedule the furtherest we travel is to Central.
