No fines should be levied ,and if his feelings are hurt now ,wait until he goes back to Tally, his old stomping grounds . Joe Bullard is going to drag the Sonic Boom ,and the FAMU fans and FAMU BAND is going to rip Coach Prime and the entire team all damn day long from right behind their team bench . You saw how they had some of our players wanting to run up in the stands to fight . "Welcome to Black College Football Coach Prime" Some of you forget that Deion Sanders has played and coached at the highest levels Texas High school, College & Professional . He has heard it all before. Do some of you honestly think a man that has played before over 15K to 60K or more people at schools like Denton Ryan , Plano and Alabama Miami, University of Florida , professionally in front of Philadelphia, Oakland Raiders just to name a few . Have any of you ever been to a Oakland Raiders or Philadelphia Eagles game and you guys honestly think that the tiny crowds in the MEAC and SWAC could get up under his skin REALLY. Obviously it got under his skin because he responded .

I know some think SWAC commission can do know wrong, but I find it hard to believe an HBCU would turn down an opportunity to put your product on national television if the opportunity presents itself.
I personally hope they do and those time slots are provided to the Big South where we could possibly take advantage. Yes all our content will be on the ESPN platform but nothing beats being one of a major sports channels primary broadcast channels.
I believe if any of the posters on this site ever found out the A&T declined to switch a kickoff time or maybe even a GameDay say to a Friday night for TV, they may pitch a fit.
I think I would to a certain extent as to not interfere with the well being and safety of the team. I'm all for putting our product on full display as much as humanly possible. We need to generate as much traffic/clicks/streams/ticket sales/whatever about A&T to the point where people are like "oh my gosh if I see A&T on TV one more time...". Then subliminally we gotten.
Transformative people, the Chancellor said it himself and Athletics is the front porch to the university, let's go.

To be honest, the only reason why Jackson State games are even being bumped up to ESPN/ESPN2 is because of Deion. They have yet to move any non-Deion games up from Streaming. Also, no other FCS games outside of the game involving Trey Lance were flexed up. By and large, FCS games don't have the star power and unfortunately, that includes us.

When I watched the beginning of that press conference, I felt the exact same way.

For accuracy, the Magic City Classic is the only non-Deion SWAC game on the ESPN Cable docket this spring season. However, UD vs DSU was flexed to ESPN2. The irony.
