I think Bell got pick up today... Yep he did an interview with Malik Wilson He got a call from the Seattle Seahawks to Workout and I guess see what he can do. That’s a big move right there and I hope everything works in his favor. Wilson to Bell has a nice ring to it .

There definitely was a camp roster spot that opened when the kid tried to sneak a woman into the Seahawks' team hotel this past week. Good luck to Justin Cates also.

I'm glad to see Bell get an NFL opportunity and I hope he makes the team...

Sounds like he is getting a combine style workout. I need them to get him in pads and on that camp roster!

Just watching the interview, it put a lot of things in perspective that I did not really think about. The fact that HS seniors really don't have a year to show what they can do hurts a lot of our kids trying to make it out. The diamonds in the rough that we were fortunate to pick up like Elijah and Tarik probably won't have offers their senior year. 2020 is just a real unfortunate year for a lot of young athletes.

all you can ask for is an "opportunity". eb just needs to work his tail off and fight his way onto a roster. don't let 'em out work you, eb!!

Well 2 of the backup WR for Seattle are banged up right now in Moore and Swain so maybe he is getting a chance.

Well 2 of the backup WR for Seattle are banged up right now in Moore and Swain so maybe he is getting a chance. The Seattle Seahawks have been fortunate throughout the first week of on-the-field practices during training camp. Relatively few players have suffered new injuries despite having only a virtual offseason this year. Coach Pete Carroll did report that rookie wide receiver Freddie Swain has a groin issue and veteran David Moore hurt his ankle. “D-Mo just turned his ankle a little bit,” Carroll said via Zoom ahead of Monday’s practice. “We’ll see if he can go today, it was just a couple days ago. It’s not serious at all. It may take another day or so.” Moore did not practice on Sunday but was able to return to the field Monday afternoon after all. As for Swain, he likely won’t be able to participate over the next few days. “Freddie just got little bit of a groin thing that just kind of nicked him, so we’ve got to make sure that we don’t let that get worse, so he’ll be quiet for a couple days now,” Carroll explained. “And Freddie’s had a really good start so far, so we have seen him already, and he’s made a good first impression.” seahawkswire.usatoday.com/2020/08/18/seahawks-wide-receiver-david-moore-freddie-swain-minor-injuries-training-camp/

The biggest thing he will have to get an opportunity to demonstrate is his "football" speed. They won't see it combine drills. The two guys that got hurt have size and ran a 4.36 and a 4.46 respectively. Bell ran a 4.55. Sometimes you don't get the shot if your measureables don't align with their expectations. Hopefully, he can get on the field.

Hopefully, he can get on the field. All Bell has to do is be consistent an catches everything he touches . Although Bell does not have the speed the other two have neither one of them were consistent when it came to catching and protecting the ball. Bell has to show fluid accuracy in his route running and space management coming of the line and make the catches he should and shouldn't make and if he does that he could find his way onto somebodies roster if not the Taxi / practice squad .

And if that doesn't work he can always switch to tight end.
