Yall, E-bell 40 was terrible. I love the guy, but it was terrible. Again, my top 5 favorite Aggies football players of all time, but his 40 was terrible. Duke didn't doom him, but it showed his weaknesses in a live game. Had he beasted on Duke I bet he would be on someone practice squad right now.

Didn’t Bell get a tryout with the Seahawks? Yep. Last year. No signing.

Didn’t Bell get a tryout with the Seahawks? I think he did get and invite to a pre evaluation camp for somebody I don't know if it was a Seahawks or not but he did get a shot

He may get a camp invite. I assume he looked good at HBCU combine Bells best bet is to spend a few seasons in the CFL which is a far more receiver friendly league then the NFL with the extended field and 5 & 6 receivers games schemes . There he can prefect his rout running skills. Like it or not E.Bell was not properly prepared by coaching staff at Tee as far as his route running developed . Bell was not the only receiver that fell victim to this JumpBall U mindset that did not sufficiently prepare them for the next level . I'm hoping to see more of a pro style offense similar to what North Dakota State runs . We have the speed and personal in place to play more of a pro style vertical passing game it is time to drop the Chicken and move up to T Bone Steak or at least Filet Mignon .

Therein lies the dilemma. Is it A&T's job to prepare players for the pros? Win football games? Or both? Or neither?

Players making the NFL or NBA are purely bonuses for us and we’re thankful to see some of our best Aggies during this current era make it to the NFL.

Graduate students Win games And prepare them for the NFL Alabama continues to get kids drafted because they are NFL ready. Trey lance has great athletic ability but scouts also liked the fact that he ran a pro offense. You need all three in order to continue getting top to good recruits

The thing is, Bell kinda has weird natural gait, so he could probably shave about 3 tenths of a second off his 40 time if he dedicated himself to speed program and retooling his mechanics.
I dont honestly see a lot of teams calling his phone if he is still clocking in a 4.8.
I think he would need to run a consistent 4.5 just to have a serious conversation with a NFL GM.

His old agent invested in a training program in California that got him down to 4.55 but did not get him into a camp, only a tryout. Will his new agent (Bam and Mac's agent also) do the same for him AGAIN? His time is running out.

I wonder if that foot injury is lingering. That could have something to do with it.
