Why would we move the softball complex? It is less than 20 years old. To free up space for an indoor practice facility & track for football and T&F.

They would be getting a new facility on the War Memorial Property that we're going to be renovating. Their facility will likely go where those old tennis courts are currently. Not to mention, they use the Aggie Dome already. Softball is being taken care of. Lastly, there won't be a need to tear down the current softball facility until their new one is built.

I’ve always thought that the Softball stadium was out of place. It should be moved without question.

lol, when was the last time the administration based a fiscal decision on what students thought? Techincally, they do each time that Student Athletic Fee is raised.

Techincally, they do each time that Student Athletic Fee is raised. good joke! Seriously. I remember having to vote on increases while in school and even sat in on a few budget committee meetings that Earl was on when he worked in student affairs. 🤷🏿♂️

It’s happened multiple times over the years and it’s one of the reasons why the UNC BOG put in an annual 3% cap on the fee increase. Anything else above that, IIRC, has to be approved by students AND BOG.
