Seriously. I remember having to vote on increases while in school and even sat in on a few budget committee meetings that Earl was on when he worked in student affairs. 🤷🏿♂️ i spent 5 years as a student at a&t (spent 3 semesters on co-op) and "NEVER ONCE" were we asked what we thought about increasing or decreasing student fees. so good, you apparently experienced a rare "anomaly"... Was it raised while you were there? If it was, do you really expect them to ask each student?

I (think) that I remember them asking us to increase fees for the new student union(that I never got to use).

FYI: Many of the seats in War Memorial have now been removed. I am not sure what the plan is to replace them, but a lot of fans are just bringing lawn chairs to watch the games now.

Would love for a member of the sunshine gang to give us a update on the offseason stadium renovations.

4 NC HBCUs to receive $500K+ to preserve historic buildings
One $500,000 grant will be used to rehabilitate World War Memorial Stadium, which was built in 1926 and is the oldest minor-league ballpark in North Carolina, according to a release. It says the project will be used to repair the structural concrete seating desk and install new seating, including the addition of ADA-accessible seating and other safety devices. The NPS says the second $500,000 grant will be used to rehabilitate Vanstory Hall, a residence hall built in 1966. www.wnct.com/on-your-side/school-watch/4-nc-hbcus-to-receive-500k-to-preserve-historic-buildings/

If the project doesn’t start this summer, it’ll be a disappointment.

They will go by way of the Do-Do once the bid process is completed and the contractors take over.
