Show me the documentation that states the above issues..i.e That the property is contaminated and that stream that runs by the stadium has been there for decades along with the stadium and I would think that it has been evaluated by the city manager. I'm with Thrilla on this . I grew up playing football and baseball in that area/field between the stadium and the tennis courts as a kid living on Banks Street. If you have proof and documentation produce it or give us a reference destination site so that we can put this to rest . edocs.deq.nc.gov/WasteManagement/ElectronicFile.aspx?dbid=0&docid=683615&What page does my attorney need to look at that proves the asbestos exposure?

Countryboy really thought he did something. It's not the administration's incompetence ... it's the lead paint and asbestos. Gotta admit that I'm more aligned with your thinking v ALL of the apologists. The current state of affairs when it comes to our baseball facility is flat out unacceptable regardless of other entities that affect things.

Man, put a blow up cover over the top of the thing and make it an indoor practice field.

Can't implode it (I assume). Although that would resemble large portions of WWII.
Fix up the outside so it's presentable and put a top on it so it's fully sealed and make it an indoor practice facility and football facility, all while keeping the historical facade. Let the baseball team play at the stadium downtown.

I will admit that I initially attempted to inform you that there are many dynamics, both internal and external that may impact or delay a construction project. Timelines and schedule are fluid and subject to change monthly, weekly or daily on any construction project. You are the one who accused the administration of being incompetent. Have you ever reached out to Facilities or the project manager to ask questions? Evidently not. I have degrees in construction management and industrial technology from A&T, a licensed general contractor for more 28 years and a NC State certified building inspector for more than 30 years. Iβve also worked on local, state and federal contracts and construction projects. I may not know everything but Iβm willing to bet the farm that I know more than you. And by the way, who would want to come on your program after you have accused them of being incompetent? Now drop the mike on that!

So were we exposed to asbestos over the past few years or not?
I've got my attorney on hold right now, waiting for the answer ...

Not wanting to take sides here, but even if all that were true, what part of it is keeping us from mowing the lawn and doing very minor upgrades so it's not completely and utterly unpresentable?

So if the fees have been paid (have they) ? Let's say they have . Why hasn't the developmental part began? This was from 2016 ,what has been done to address the Potentially Hazardous Environmental issues . It's been 7 years and they are still playing games at War Memorial Stadium, a Potentially Hazardous Environmental Site LHM ππ€£ . If this is not Gaslighting I don't know what is . Why hasn't this came out earlier than now . Chancellor Martin retires and s*** falls out of the sky ππ€£π

They have been mowing and doing upkeep on the game field grass, because the team his been using the stadium for their home games .

actually, "the grass" at memorial stadium is one of the few things that actually looks good. but the structure surrounding it brings "the grass" down...

I'm sure Craig has talked to our AD about this multiple times since 2016. So, I don't think this might be s*** falling out of the sky.
