Lamar Raynard - 19/22 (86.4 Completion Percentage), 321 Yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's, Passer Rating: 253.9
He also completed a pass to a Tom Brady-Like 7 different receivers.
This is a Payton Award Finalist stat line.

Well, sans that McKnight injury, we looked really good. I think GWebb players got salty and started trying to hurt our guys. The class and sportsmanship wasn't there in the second half. Hopefully McKnight just has a knee/ankle strain, and nothing broke or tore.

We looked like a top 25 FCS team playing an inferior team...and I love it. This was a perfect opener for us...our fans showed up in mass, our team man-handled Gardner Webb, the band was crisp and into the game and we won! One small problem...our kicking game. Maybe it was the first game jitters but that's got to be fixed!

Just all-around dominant. The team, the fans, the band.......G-W just wasn't ready for anything we threw at them.
We were so prepared for them, it was downright scary. It was as if the G-W playbook was given to us on Monday and we studied it all the way up to gametime. They were figured out by us from the first snap.
Our kicking team......they were horrendous. We can beat Charlotte, but if if the kicking team doesn't tighten up, those few points lost today could be our downfall in a few weeks.
Raynard......WOW!! Someone's already posted his stats.....WOW!!
Aggie Nation - we got something special here. With this team's talent and the coaching staff's pregame preparation....we are gonna put folks to bed early.
If they keep playing like this, they will be worth the price of admission - home or away. I initially wasn't thinking about going to Baltimore (Morgan) or Tallahassee (FAMU)......but I might have to rethink things. I can't miss any games with the boys playing like this.....

From reading what has been said regarding the game..... (All the positives ) A: First game of the year. I think we had a great start for the 2017 season. B: Looks like Raynard has put in a lot of work since last year. C (Lastly), From what I have heard the defense was deadly and in "attack" mode.

Just getting home but, we tore their behinds up. We have so many weapons on offense. I hope #95 is okay. That was the only blemish on the night

A&T looked great but wow! Norfolk State almost beats UVA (score 14 to 10). And one of the worst mead programs beats D1 UNLV. Shout out to the MEAC today!
