We should look for new OC next year. No we shouldn't; offensive coordinator has done a good job with what he had. Come on three starting receivers out this season.

With Bethune winning the Florida Classic, we should be the co-champs going to Atlanta and BCU may be going to play the Citadel in the Playoffs.
Carter had a really nice grip of the offense. Against either Grambling or Alcorn, Carter should be the starter.

Co-Champs again. Congrats Coach / Team on a great year. You fought thru many obstacles, and a Freshman ended the game.
Atlanta is well deserved. Take the $ A&T and get a win!

Y'all act like women lol. Lose one game and he is outreached and his coaching philosophy doesn't work. How has it worked with Pugh down at SC State? Saban at Bama? seahawks in the NFL? Broadway at central, grambling, and a&t? Same philosphy run the ball effectively and playing GREAT defense. A&T had a top 5 defense in the country. Nobody would have guessed that Central would rack up yards running the ball on us. I guess we can't beat them with our D Coordinator too huh? He has done something that hasn't been done in almost 20 years and y'all are complaining like A&T is used to winning 9 football games every year and winning conference championships. Come back to reality. Back to back championships and returning the majority of the starters so expect another 9/10 win season next year.

...and unfortunately expect another loss to NCCU next year because they will be EXTREMELY tough to beat in their stadium with the swagger and confidence they have over us now. Beating Central has become a mental issue, in addition to coaching philosophy and player miscues. They're the new "SCSU Curse". A thorn in the side. We can win all the games we want...NCCU will still be there to spoil our season at the end! Sucks.

kb31, His coaching philosophy doesn't work......against Coach Mack. After watching the games firsthand last year and this year vs NCCU, I don't think Broadway's brand of football is suited to beat Mack. That's not anger talking - that's reality. Mack (and his staff) are just better at calling plays....plain and simple. They had us off-balance for most of the game. There were a few glimmers of offense with us today....but for the most part, we were extremely predictable. I honestly believe if Carter was brought into the game earlier, we would have won....but you know what - I blame that on the coach for not knowing his personnel and having the sense to do it. Fans were clamoring for a QB change in the 2nd qtr. Unfortunately, Quick reverted back to the non-passer we've all come to be familiar with.
Plain and simple....Broadway just doesn't know offense. He just doesn't have that innate offensive feel of a football game you need to have to be special. I don't want to hear about which WRs were injured this year. We have enough players on the team right now to win....but offensively, we are severely challenged and hampered, with respect to our approach to the game. It's been glaringly present all year, but many were willing to let it slide because we were winning.
I do feel much more comfortable with Carter coming back next year as our QB.....but I'm still worried about Broadway and his inability to navigate the offensive flow of a football game against good competition.
3 offensive coordinators in 5 years....and we're still a very offensively challenged team. We cannot blame this on Pizzo, Bustle or Hester. There's only one common denominator over these past 5 years of offensive inefficiency ----- BROADWAY. I'm not angry we lost.....I just understand why we did and how this trend of losing to Central may not change anytime soon unless Mack goes elsewhere....

No, we do have to wait til Monday when the sagarin ratings are release. I dont believe a bcu win over famu (1-9) coupled with our loss to nccu (9-2) will bump bcu ahead of us. However im not so sure nccu win over us (9-2) will catapult their rating ahead of us.

We just have to wait on the Sagarin ratings.

Broadway is a good coach but his downfall is he is stubborn. He knows damn well he should have had Carter in the game as early as the first quarter. Hell he should have started.
When Carter finally got in the game our team responded positively and began to play better.
However, he put Carter in the game too late. If he had played earlier I think we would have won handily.
Stubbornness kills. Broadway got out coached and our play selection was horrendous. Second year in a row he has been out coached by Mack.
I hope Broadway and staff do a better job in Atlanta as far as coaching.
Coach Broadway do the right thing and start Carter. Hell, my 90 year old Aunt knows that.

Its between us and bcu. Nccu is only involved because of the three way tie. However according to the tiebreak point system.
1. 6 pts FBS win - nobody 2. 4 pts nonconference FCS win - us and bcu - this is the criteria where nccu is Eiminated 3. Sagarin rating - team with higher rating receives the league's bowl bid/playoff berth whichever is applicable.
We have to hoe bcu win over famu doesn't leapfrog them over us after loss to nccu.

and all the fans and your 90 year old aunt have NEVER been a head coach at this level and its a reason for that. Like i stated earlier you act like A&T is a football power and they are used to winning conference championships every year. Quit kidding yourself and lying to yourself he has taking them to uncharted territory. EVERYBODY knows everything about football watching in the stands. People sleep on how good central was. They should be undefeated in FCS competition this year. They got cheated vs Cookman when replay clearly showed the scored and the officials called the RB down.

Well I am so glad I missed this crap today. If we luck up and get picked for the Celebration Bowl, I'm going to save my money and stay home. Not interested in seeing this team again this year.
I guess we should be happy with where our program is but these losses at the end of season to NCCU tarnish everything.
Now we've got to endure our sorry basketball program.
