I flew from Dallas to attend this game brought my 13 year old daughters first Aggie game....Motivation had nothing to do with us losing. Should have made a qb change to start second half and Broadway said that was his mistake. Not Quicks faught but he really has not been completely explosive since last years injury. He was making progress until getting injured at FAMU
Make no mistake Cartrer is a major talent the entire pkg.
The other thing thats also not being said is the poor performance by our d-line.... NCCU rb had 167 yards ...you kidding me ? I was also suprised at NCCU size of receivers and db's

They didn't fill properly and they didn't get off blocks. Everything was funneled inside. Our LBs didn't finish. With all that being said, it wasn't their fault. They did what they were suppose to do for most of the game. This was an offensive letdown. You talking 1 td, JUST ONE from the offense. If they get 2 tds we win the game.

true monster .....the biggest issue was the off. and it boils down to not playing Carter the entire second half or 3/4 of the game had that been done we would all be on here singing about Carter...

true monster .....the biggest issue was the off. and it boils down to not playing Carter the entire second half or 3/4 of the game had that been done we would all be on here singing about Carter... Coach has been rotating QBs all year at the first sign they were ineffective.....then, when the Central game rolls around, he sticks with Quick for 3 quarters as if he was having the game of his life. Decisions like this equate to CRACKING UNDER BIG MOMENT SITUATIONS. And the thing about this is everyone in the stands could see a QB change was necessary.....AFTER THE FIRST QTR.

I understand Quick has done good work for program. Yes he was ineffective and probaly could have benefited from additional healing time leading up to the bowl game...
I am all in for Broadway he said he should have made a QB change he gets it I dont see it as cracking under pressure.

I'm tired of the Quick blaming. Its easy to put this on Quick when in all honesty it was on the o-line. I hate to put that on a public forum because I love our kids and dont like bashing them. But Quick was not the problem in this game. He missed some throws badly, but a miss is a miss. When we are first and goal inside the 15 and we have to result to play-action passing when we got school record breaking RB in the backfield is the craziest thing I ever seen. that happened twice.
Carter came in and had some good runs to keep the drive alive, but to be honest most of those were broken plays. Him getting first downs on broken pass plays and running through defenders just showed me how bad of a game our o-line and playcallers were having. On the "designed" runs Carter got his azz pounded also. Lets also not forget the o-line acting like they never went on 2 before. Didnt we have 4 or 5 false starts? Man, Quick may have missed a few throws, but the team had way bigger issues than him this past Saturday. The same issues were there the 2 games before NCCU.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree.....all I know is when Broadway plays Mack, correct decisions get made on one side, incorrect decisions get made on the other side.
The man played musical chairs with the QB ALL YEAR......then, for the LAST GAME OF THE YEAR AGAINST OUR RIVAL, he wants to "go steady" with Quick on Saturday.
IT'S CALLED NERVES... IT'S CALLED PRESSURE....
Pressure either makes diamonds or bursts pipes......unfortunately, it was the latter for us on Saturday.

I was also suprised at NCCU size of receivers and db's The secondary has played below par all season, but with exception of this game the defense as a whole has been spot on. Central played a hurry up like one we hadn't seen before and with the 3 and outs of the offense, those guys were tired. The coaches were to slow calling plays, we even got an illegal participation penalty call trying to substitute. I don't know what happened to the secondary this season against good passing teams, especially since we have almost the same guys.

Nobody talks about the jump ball thrown to Keyes from Carter. The ball should have been thrown out in front leading him and Keys walks in. Keyes had to wait on it and therefore it becomes a jump ball that got broken up. This is the MEAC, your QB is not going to be Peyton Manning in his prime. Carter and/or Raynard will go through the same critiques by the same fans next season and the starter will have to listen to how the other guys should be playing or should have played.

The game is over now it's time to move forward we have a lot of great football players returning and hopefully few redshirt player ready to move up adding two or more freshman that are ready to play and some D1 Transfers to fill in the whole we will be on top again We are the team that each team in the MEAC circles each year we have to learn how to meet their intensity each week Thanks to all the players and coaches for a great season and thanks to all my Aggie brother and sisters for all your support this season from the gold at The Hill to the turn out at SCSU with the forecast of bad weather The difference in our program and others is that we are building a program to be Champion not to upset a team So to Central congratulations on your victory a game well played but this week when you are turning in your equipment and saying goodbye to all your team members remember that the Aggie are preparing to represent the MEAC in Atlanta on December 19 not you After all the Eagle fans stop bragging I want you to ask a simple question why are we bragging if we are at home I will answer the question for you First you only beat one quality team all year and that was us Second we beat three quality teams Elon,BC, SCSU So if beating the Aggie was your goal at the beginning of the season congratulations on a great season but the goal at Aggie Nation was to be in Atlanta December 19 Mission Accomplished To all the eagle fan that came up to me saying this is our house no problem because we want be needed it till next year because the Atlanta Superdome will be our House in December And on December 19 remember buzzard fans no one in TV land will give a SH????T about you because all they will see is A&T Blue and Gold AGGIE PRIDE

What's up Aggies!!!!!! Been on the scene just haven't posted in a while. I know the NCCU game is over and we are off to the ATL but I have some quick thoughts. 1)We had a supa season but Broadway HAS to wear this one (yeah, I know he has fessed up). Quick was no where near 100%. He had not played in a couple of weeks and the info I get is he was still in a walking boot the week of the game. It was very plain that Raynard's confidence was at a low and he had not been effective in a while. However, Carter had sparked the team in scoring it's only touchdown against SCSU. He did not hurt the team when he played against DSU. My whole point is it was quite a surprise that when Quick could not move the team in the first quarter Broadway did not go with Carter (at the VERY least starting the 2nd half). Does anyone know that Quick was 0 for 10 on 3rd down conversions before he was pulled??? 0 for 10 and Broadway did not make a change. Quick simply was rusty and not 100%. Instead Carter did not enter the game until the 10 minute mark of the 4th quarter. He promptly engineered a TD drive. 2) The play calling once again was very suspect. One time we had a little momentum going in the 1st or 2nd quarter on our 40 yd line and it was 3rd and 3. The play called was Keyes on a fly pattern 20 yds down field for an incompletion. Keyes is our POSSESSION receiver. Why not have him run a short pattern for a first down. Also, one of the weaknesses of our offense is that we have NEVER really utilized our TE's for short yardage. Additionally, we had the ball on Central's 1/2 yd line 4th down at the end of the game. The play that was called was a toss sweep (from the 1/2 yd line? ) to Cohen and Carter fumbled the toss. Surely, we could have recruited and developed a fullback who can be used in short yardage situations....Cohen, as great as he is, is too little in those situations. 3) The play of the O-line was not too surprising because it has been a work in progress all year....that did not lose the game. 3) Coverage pass defense except for McRae has been weak all year. There are not many very good passing teams in the MEAC...........that did not lose the game. 4) The D-line has played better but the linebackers did not stay in their lanes and cover the gaps. I give a lot of credit to Central's running back because he is very good and I think he is just a freshman. We gave up a lot of yds. but the offense only scored 2 TD's........that did not lose the game. 5) Why was the game lost? Broadway was too slow to pull the hook. After rotating QB's all season and being 9-1.........Broadway was stuck in the sand and caught up in the moment.

Now moving on to the Bowl . whether it is Alcorn or Grambling we cannot continue to run this predictable offense going into this game. It is time for the OC to include more of his receivers, expecially the TE into this offense also A&T has a number of big Backs (225 & 230) that they have refused to use and short yardage situations. I know that they are freshman or red shirts but we have to use our bigger Backs more. it is time for them to open up the playbook!
