Neon those fish games are needed with no spring practice; come on you have to have some common sense. Come on TRu keep this on football. And my question/statement once again is do we get better with those two extra practices by playing those 2 teams? They are less skilled than our third teams. That doesn't make you better. One is kinda understandable two seems like stat padding.. Someone made mention to how we finished third in offense.. but if you take out those games then last? When I get off from work and play basketball with my grand daughter in the back yard, even though she has been playing since 3:30 I expect her to get better not me!

I believe it would help more to play two blue/gold games instead of playing those teams. I mean we can't expect to get better dropping to that level of competition. Iron sharpens Iron, fish just makes for a good meal. And your right a FEW extra dollars don't you think the draw would be bigger if you could bring in an App. Western Carolina, SWAC school? You get better by your level of competition not Wins and Loses

If our excuse is going to be APR for playing subpar competition... Does not those two gimme games equate to only about 4 extra hours of practice? Will that really make us better in conference? Do we even have an accurate gauge to where we are after those games?

Don't at all think it was an experiment... I think the word we use use was competition.. That's what makes Athletics better and keeps them grounded.. Ask any athlete how just seeing a new recruit list or visits of someone playing their same position made them check their game. Athletes Thrive off pressure, if getting pulled when your not playing your best makes him blue then he's not worth his gold

If we journey back to our days walking the yard.. I think we maybe able to diagnose the problem with Kindle a little better. I think he just has the "Big Man on Campus Syndrome" and may need the competition and the embarrassment/reality check of being benched during GHOE to bring him back down to the GCOE. Mechanically I think he's sound and at this point is a better overall threat than Quick. Mentally at this point is where the gap between the two is narrowed.

Bigpeete i agree w/ you on the scouting.. And being the Bleacher Coach/Coordinator that I am it seemed like they scouted us better... for instance Graham would in Man and they would motion the receiver to the other side which lets qb know its man which is susceptible to picks and crossing routes. D didn't seem to stem in/out of looks to confuse ELK. And oh yea I think we could have ran it down their throat

I can see how the yardage was close, the seem to have a more mature team(i'm not going to say coaching staff but thats up for debate) We made plays all day long but always pre-ejaculated during our drives. Never got that steady rhythm to punch it in..

OH Yes, those were game changing drops. But we never seemed to have a rhythm. I don't think they had that much better athletes. Receivers were getting open, backs were getting yards? Defense played decent in stretches but i think DSU did a better job reading our defenses w/ their motion guys and crossing routes to the voids in which looked to be a three deep zone

Being one that loves everything blue and gold I was forced to see things through rose(cherry) colored glasses this weekend... With that being said.
Do you think broadway needs one or two more recruiting classes to get the guys he needs to run his system?
Did it seem like we didn't try to establish a run game until the fourth quarter(feeding the mayhew)
(IMO) I think Kindle feels too much pressure to try to go out and win games
