Gimmie one transfer to round out this potential interior DL rotation that suddenly has major P5 size and potential. We need at least 2 - 3 dt's from the transfer portal. The high school recruits we're signing should be redshirted. We should have no expectations for a true freshman becoming part of our DL rotation. Probably doesn't bode well for us if we have to go that route. Those CAA offensive linemen are no joke! Last season our redshirt freshmen dt's got stood up or pancaked time and again. That experience will serve them well but they need some experienced warriors to join the rotation this season. I think it's critical to our success. Do you think Caleb was a help to our defense during his freshman year? I think he was our best interior D-lineman as a true freshman. If they can play then you play them…that’s why they are coming..

I would consider it more of Al Groh’s coaching web..here are a few guys that I know he is connected with from his time at UVA. All these guys were on the same staff or coached during London’s UVA-Richmond stints. Most of which went on to get HC jobs or coordinator jobs. Notice how Coach Brown thanked Al Groh, Bill Parcells, and Mike London…Parcells is the top of the tree. Stems back from the Jets, Pats days. A lot of the kids these guys coached are coaching high school and college ball now. Ras I dowling (former UVA first rounder and superbowl champion) played at UVA and is on the W&M staff coaching DBs.
Name Position Al Groh Head Coach Danny Rocco Assistant Head Coach / Linebackers Coach Al Golden Defensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks / Tight Ends Coach Corwin Brown Special Teams Coach Mike Groh Wide Receivers Coach Mike London Defensive Line Coach / Recruiting Coordinator Bob Price Defensive Backs Coach Ron Prince Offensive Line Coach Kevin Ross Running Backs Coach Andy Heck Graduate Assistant Coach – Offense Reed Case Graduate Assistant Coach – Defense

I was just about to ask what about Bowick… he had some big catches last season . Kind of hard not to have him on the field. Is Z leslie brother still on the team? I haven’t looked at the roster lately Yes he is

On a bad throw too. He’s a true freshman but our QB room is very inexperienced & grim looking Wasn’t that Fowler?

If we are strategic with scheduling and ready to make in season scheduling adjustments it could work out for us. Just look at what playing this past fall did for Coastal’s and Liberty’s Brand. A four game schedule would have been awesome. NDSU, Liberty, Elon, Charlotte or App. We would have been the only HBCU on the map. We are probably the only HBCU with the resources to pull it off this spring. I’m sure the guys would rather play football games than practice. Start it up...things go sideways shut it down.
