I remember reading a few years ago that selecting candidates from a successful coaching tree was one of the best ways to select a coach. We can see that holds some truth when you look at the Broadway coaching tree. From Washington to Oliver to Gibbs we know the core foundation is we do chicken.
Has London been around long enough to have a coaching tree? If not, what has been his foundation as a head coach? I ask because this is Browns first time as a head coach and curious what his foundation will be? He's been with London at several stops so it stands to reason we may see some London influence in how he runs this program.

And always remember, Mike London knows how to win in the FCS Playoffs. If Coach Brown learned that from Coach London, we’re in great shape.

It's funny but London was a guy who I originally thought could be a good replacement for Washington. This could be the next best thing.

Including Brown, from what I can tell he’s had at least four guys that went in to become head coaches.

I dont think it can be understated that Mike London led W&M to an 11-2 overall record and first place finish in the CAA last year ... and we just hired the guy who probably knows him better than anybody.

I would consider it more of Al Groh’s coaching web..here are a few guys that I know he is connected with from his time at UVA. All these guys were on the same staff or coached during London’s UVA-Richmond stints. Most of which went on to get HC jobs or coordinator jobs. Notice how Coach Brown thanked Al Groh, Bill Parcells, and Mike London…Parcells is the top of the tree. Stems back from the Jets, Pats days. A lot of the kids these guys coached are coaching high school and college ball now. Ras I dowling (former UVA first rounder and superbowl champion) played at UVA and is on the W&M staff coaching DBs.
Name Position Al Groh Head Coach Danny Rocco Assistant Head Coach / Linebackers Coach Al Golden Defensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks / Tight Ends Coach Corwin Brown Special Teams Coach Mike Groh Wide Receivers Coach Mike London Defensive Line Coach / Recruiting Coordinator Bob Price Defensive Backs Coach Ron Prince Offensive Line Coach Kevin Ross Running Backs Coach Andy Heck Graduate Assistant Coach – Offense Reed Case Graduate Assistant Coach – Defense

OK. So who are candidates to join Brown's staff as coordinators?
