At 5-11, 180 he should grow into being a pretty big corner.
I like they way we are allowing our DBs to become more physical at the line of scrimmage now.

Secondary is nice...#22 could have more ints. if he could get his head around quicker. This is a nice pick up.

The db's including Olatoye do an amazing job considering we don't generate a lot of pressure on the opposing qb. Our defense is pretty good but they rank at the bottom of the MEAC in sacks.

Secondary is nice...#22 could have more ints. if he could get his head around quicker. This is a nice pick up. #22 is the transfer from univ. of colorado, ayodeji olatoye. i might be one of the few who have noticed, but olatoye is one of the "hardest hitters", if not the hardest hitter on our entire team. i've seen him "jerk many necks" after hitting folk coming up from the secondary! seemingly, everytime i see one of our guys pop somebody's neck giving them "whip lash", it always seems to be olatoye. he's one of the few fbs transfers who's living up to expectations...

He's not even close to being the hardest hitter on the team. That distinction would belong to Isaiah Martin.

I got a great idea maybe Olatoye can tackle Thriller running across the parking lot and Martin can tacke Oldschool running across the parking lot. And the one of you two gentlemen that can get up the fastest wins.!!

honestly, i don't know who the hardest hitter is on the team. but i definitely know that olatoye will "pop yo azz"! seen it too many times. but oleschool's football days are long ova! i sometimes get that urge to suit up and bang heads again. but then i remember the soreness and headaches the day after game day and quickly come my azz back down to earth...

It's always good to have more than one hard hitter.

I like a DB that can hit hard and make the receiver pay if they come in his territory but #21 just flat out shuts receivers down. It's fun to watch him lurking on the field like a mongoose. Just waiting for the ball to come his way.

well, our db's had better be ready to see balls a flyin' come saturday cuz famu's fleming can flat out throw the rock! i think he's the 2nd best passer in the meac behind elko of dsu, but he ain't that far behind elko.
famu's problem offensively has be the lack of a running game. but they're near the top in passing offense. this will not be an easy game for us. its been a minute since we've beaten famu. i hope this is the year we reverse that trend. but it certainly won't be easy...

This is a great pick up. Ocean Lakes is one of the top programs in the 757....always in the playoffs in football and basketball. It's located in one of the more prosperous areas of Va. Beach. The athletes from Ocean Lakes are usually academically solid.

The only weakness we have in coverage is the slot. Del. State killed us in the slot...since we don't really play 3 corners...that leaves the slot receiver with a linebacker or a safety in coverage...advantage goes to the receiver. But that's bout the only weakness...if we could somehow generate a fierce pass rush...we'd be feared.
