A-1, I understand your sentiments but I'm not for painting a whole institution for the actions of 50 assholes over a period of 40 years. That's probably because I don't want somebody coming up to me saying "oh you went to A&T. You must be a hooligan. I saw that fight." It's pretty simple. Hold people accountable for their actions. If they turn over a team bus have their a$$ prosecuted. If they bust out car windows call the police. They start a fight, let the authorities handle it. They jump on a piece of painted dirt, ignore it and get revenge by beating their a$$ the next year and send copy of the tape to every media outlet around. If we sit here and complain and don't do anything then we have no right to complain. Tape of the fracas has already surfaced on one online service. It shows absolutely nothing. If you have tape that incriminates Eagles, hell and Aggies for that matter, you should try to free up the schedule pronto. What took place was wrong and people are going to have to learn to act like civilized adults. Dooms, I understand you very well, but what can we do about those sorry refs? They wouldn't do anything about the band continuing to play while we were running our plays!

Maybe not the entire institution Dooms, but something is inherently wrong within the hierarchy of its leadership that continuously allows and this time encouraged this type of thing to occur and knowingly allows it to happen over and over again - the violence, the taunting, and by displaying this same aberrant anti-social behavior year after year, decade after decade.
This is not merely an isolated somewhat meaningless incident that soon disappears in the normal news cycle but yet another emabarrasing event in a long line of documented irresponsible and often time dangerous conduct.

That's why we gotta sic 'em! I'm of the opinion that it takes two to tango. We didn't have to dance with them the other day. The other stuff took place prior to mass videotaping equipment being available. That probably has a lot to do with why it continues.
Like them or loathe them, they are us and we are them in the eyes of others. We have to make sure we all act with decorum.
As for the refs, Fobbs should be handling that himself.
If he ain't, these are the officials:
Holloway should know exactly which conference they work for. They've all done MEAC games before. They should know better. The ref has done MEAC, CIAA and SIAC games.
I already e-mailed the supervisor of officials for the MEAC about it and included the name of the ref. The supervisor of officials' name is Dan Evans and his e-mail address is evansd@themeac.com if anybody else has a complaint. I told him about the band playing and the refs ignoring the complaints. I asked him to review the situation and if it was within his power to at least reprimand the officials. I stated that their inaction probably had a good deal to do with the post-game happenings.

I cannot mention any names. I was on NCCU campus on Monday.
I know some of the coaches in the Athletes Department.
They all told me that the Rison and his assistant has loss control of the team. At the St. Aug. game players was taken swings at the coaches. Only one player was reprimanded and he still played in the East Rutherford, NJ game.

Reads like rumors and conjecture. Hayes isn't going to knowingly let a kid get away with that in his athletic department (unless the kid is a stud).
I refuse to buy into this "NCCU is the devil" crap. We are four years removed from being in the exact same situation at the Cookman game. Now we're holier than thou?
What's that Bible verse about the plank in the eye?
