Lewis Kindle,
Speaking for myself I want you to know that I wish you the best while you are at A&T and after you leave A&T.
You are a very talented young man and Aggie Nation is very concerned about your decisions that caused your suspension and how you carry yourself in public.
As a starting quarterback at A&T you are representing yourself, your family, your school, your team, current students, alumni, and the community.
Whatever caused your suspension should be used as a measuring device that will give you the motivation to make sure it does not happen again. I understand your passion for the game of football, but as a leader, you were out of pocket by your actions at Saturday's game.
It is time for you to look deep within your soul and become the person that can lead by action and by mouth. Life is short and we will support you but only if you improve your direction.
I know you follow BDV. There are many people upset with your recent actions. Are you the man who is now ready to step up and start doing "big boy " stuff?
Only you can answer that. My best wishes go out to you on this journey!
Much love and respect!

Nah, I remember back when I was a junior in college and I think my behavior and decision making was probably a whole lot worse than Kindle's. He needs to act like he a 37 year old man with a wife and kids to feed. Realize that everybody in Blue Death Nation is watching his every move now and that with awesome blessings comes awesome responsibility.

It maybe to late for that Bornthrilla!! I have seen players gone for a lot less. Most systems now are not putting up with disrespectful behavior on are off the field. iT'S JUST THE CHANGING OF THE TIMES.

i saw kindle with my own eyes at the game. initially, it appeared that he was trying to instruct or support his teammates from the first row of the stands on a&t’s side. actually, I didn’t have a problem with that except he probably was blocking the view of some ccu supporters on the first couple of rows. so i guess they called security on kindle and apparently kindle didn’t like it. kindle was in the wrong for blocking the view of a few spectators. i couldn’t hear what he was saying to his teammates from where i was seated, but his body language looked as if he was trying to instruct and/or support them.
however, he shouldn’t have been obstructing the view of paid spectators, he was wrong for that. that’s simply a sign of immaturity. clearly he didn’t think he was doing anything wrong, but actually he was. and when security came to have him move or sit down, he apparently got offended and his body language looked rather “defiant”. had the potential to become a major scene had kindle not succumb and left the stands.
i don’t think he put on a scene before security arrived. had it not been for the security incident, i didn’t have a problem with his actions. but i didn’t like seeing him resist security. i would have preferred that he simply cooperated with security without incident, then i would’ve been cool with the whole situation. but because he resisted, it didn’t look good on his part. i’m just glad the situation didn’t inflame into something very ugly…

He will pull through this and be a better person for it. I just don't think it's right for some to be calling for kindles Head As if they have never made a mistake Broadway will do the right thing

I applaud you for this open letter, its a perfect example of two things; 1) it takes a community to raise a child and 2) Aggies are a family. I just hope Kindle (and others) learn from your letter and improve their lives for the long term.
Again, I applaud you, great job.

Great message aggie2ru , I certainly don't want to throw the young man under the bus , but i believe in tough love . We aren't talking about one isolated incident , but what seems like a series of incidents of bad judgement . Your letter is not talking about him behind his back , but speaks directly to him .

Just as oleshcoolaggie said below and I spoke with Kindle at the game. He was only showing support and enthusiasm for his team, supporting and instructing from afar. Normally, standing and cheering at a ball game is acceptable. It was not the CCU fans that called security but A&T fans that usually view the game from a sitting view. When we, the Aggie Nation, start requesting people to sit down at a football game, maybe we should find something else to do.
I would hope that the person that was so kind to write this personal letter to Kindle and post for everyone to see would have spoken with Kindle directly as a man and found out the truth. Yes, he was upset by being approached by security, but who wouldn't be if you are cheering your team on.

I believe Broadway will deal with in his own way and do what is in the best for the university and his football team. no matter the circumstance
I'll just repeat what my wife said just a minute ago reading over my shoulder.
"If he had been that passionate yelling to teammates from stands then he should have been just as intense about following directions and team rules set out by the coach the week before then all that jawing with a security guard in the stands on Saturday night would have never happened to start with and we would not be having this conversation."
"Young people will make mistakes. The question should be now does he use next week to grow up and learn from it or continue to go the down path of acting without thinking and end up on the outside looking in."
It happened right in front of us and we saw and heard all of it.
She hit it right on the head. Listen to wife if you're smart.

Realaggie,
Rules are rules and if security asked him to chill out then that's what you have to do. I understand his intentions were to support and cheer on his team; but you must realize Saturday night Kindle was just a spectator / fan just like all the other 10,000 people in attendance.

I have to agree to disagree with you A1:I'm on the out side looking in OK . But to me it looks as if some and I do say some are taking this a little to far. It's like it's a personal thing with Kindle My ? is has Kindle been in any other trouble are had any other incidents behavioral are other wise at A&T before this ?? Also from what I'm reading in the post!! A lot are specking of kindle not having common sense and judgement ! Just look back on your younger days did you have common sense are good judgement ? when you were snacking girls in Scott Hall, getting HIGH in your DORM ROOM,Driving high are drunk and doing panty raids !! Come on now ! Don't treat this young man like he is 30 something and has had life experiences. Because he hasn't !!! Common sense comes with experiences which comes with wisdom! Which Kindle had none of. A & T is all he knows ABOUT LIFE at this moment in time !! So when you talk about Kindle, you maybe talking about yourself before you really knew the difference ! If your being real about it.
