realaggie,
Please refer to what has been said by others on here. The bottom line is what life is all about. If you put yourself in the hole its hard to get out of it. Life is hard enough as it is.
Let's hope Lewis Kindle is bigger than his recent actions and comes back and kicks sum azzzz on the football field and is successful off the field! That's what's really going on!!!!

I believe Broadway will deal with in his own way and do what is in the best for the university and his football team. no matter the circumstance I'll just repeat what my wife said just a minute ago reading over my shoulder. "If he had been that passionate yelling to teammates from stands then he should have been just as intense about following directions and team rules set out by the coach the week before then all that jawing with a security guard in the stands on Saturday night would have never happened to start with and we would not be having this conversation." "Young people will make mistakes. The question should be now does he use next week to grow up and learn from it or continue to go the down path of acting without thinking and end up on the outside looking in." It happened right in front of us and we saw and heard all of it. She hit it right on the head. Listen to wife if you're smart. As you just stated A1 everything that happened took place right in front of where I was sitting, I saw and heard it all , this is not about the one incident with the security guard , its about him ignoring the event staff, the incident with security ,and a second incident where security had to ask him to sit , if this had taken place on the streets he could be six feet under now .

Well, I'm a believer in the punishment has to fit the crime...now obviously he was suspended and rightly so. But, to call for his head and roll with a freshman...to me, doesn't fit the crime in this case. From the sounds of it, he was passionately supporting his team. Now, sure we can continue to criticize from our soapboxes and just say all the he shoulda's, woulda's and coulda's. Come on people, I charge any one of you to attend an SEC football game and try and sit down and watch the game....I can tell you now, you will not see it because their fans stand the whole game. I'm not defending Kindle for causing this scene but, you have to understand his intentions as well in this case. He wasn't there to intentionally cause a scence or rutcus...so he gets a pass on this issue. However, I will say, he'd be on a very short leash from here on.

I just read on the News-Record page that Kindle has been reinstated to play.
I hope he has learned from his mistakes and go on to have a successful year. Everything happens for a reason. Maybe these incidents will make him grow up and take on responsibility like he is suppose to. He is suppose to be the leader of this team.
The article also said that Ricky Lewis will play Sat. also as a punt returner and the holder.

A&T Football: QB Kindle reinstated; CB Webb 'not playing' The Aggies will get starting quarterback Lewis Kindle back this week but will continue to be without starting cornerback Terence Webb, N.C. A&T coach Rod Broadway said Monday. Kindle, who was suspended with at least two teammates for the Aggies' season-opening loss to Coastal Carolina on Saturday for violating team rules, is back practicing with the team, Broadway said, and the coach expects him to play this week. Broadway said Webb, a senior from Loachapoka, Ala., who started all 11 games at cornerback for the Aggies last year, is "not playing," and would not specify why or how long N.C. A&T would be without him. "Right now he's not going to play," Broadway said at his Monday press conference. "And I can't comment any further on that." I have to agree to disagree with you A1:I'm on the out side looking in OK . But to me it looks as if some and I do say some are taking this a little to far. It's like it's a personal thing with Kindle My ? is has Kindle been in any other trouble are had any other incidents behavioral are other wise at A&T before this ?? Also from what I'm reading in the post!! A lot are specking of kindle not having common sense and judgement ! Just look back on your younger days did you have common sense are good judgement ? when you were snacking girls in Scott Hall, getting HIGH in your DORM ROOM,Driving high are drunk and doing panty raids !! Come on now ! Don't treat this young man like he is 30 something and has had life experiences. Because he hasn't !!! Common sense comes with experiences which comes with wisdom! Which Kindle had none of. A & T is all he knows ABOUT LIFE at this moment in time !! So when you talk about Kindle, you maybe talking about yourself before you really knew the difference ! If your being real about it. Part of what you said could be true, but how many people on here were in a position of leadership like Kindle is? I don't think anyone on here is claiming to have always used good judgement. I could be wrong but that's what I get from reading the comments

I tried to stay our of the Kindle situation cause I wasn't there. All I have to say is Quarterbacks are quarterbacks for a reason. They are supposed to be more poised, they are suppose to show leadership and they are suppose to carry themselves that way at all times. On and off the field. He is not just a regular college football athlete or immature Aggie Monster, Thrilla, or Dooms chasing hoes and getting drunk. He is a quarterback! Always act like one.
This is not just advice for Kindle, but any QB at any level.
That is all!

Everyone is entitled to have and voice their opinion so I will add mine. I have always known Lewis to be a respectful and thoughtful young man. Does that make him a choir boy, no. Having said that, I hope that he as well as the folks on this board can put it behind them and move forward. If this had been a kid that has been an a**hole for the last 3 years, I could see some of the comments, but all indications are that he has been a pretty decent kid up to now. I think he will be just fine. Once again, just my opinion...

Coach Pizzo did state that Kindle had a 3.0 GPA last semester. That to me shows discipline and the fact that he is personally trying to do his part to help A&T get over its APR issue.
If we are going to examine his entire body of work we can't leave out the good stuff.
I think Kindle will be alright now that the one-game suspension and near tazing by CCU's Finest is behind him.
After a four touchdown performance against WVSU this weekend, all will be forgotten.

I should just let this thread drop to the bottom of the page and beyond, but I have to know:
What did Kindle do to deserve lettters from people on how to behave? All I know is he was suspended for a "violation of team rules." That could mean dam near anything. Personally, until I know the specific reason why he was suspended, I don't see any reason to be giving him advice.
In my opinion, if no one else knows, no one else should be "giving advice" either. That would just serve to make me madder if I was suspended for something small.

I think the letter was mostly in response to the CCU stadium incident ... not the initial suspension. But I could be wrong.

It's funny to see how critical we really are as fans. One mistake can get you beheaded...I respect aggie2ru's letter in all. But, I'm almost sure he's heard that conversation already. Now, if it makes you feel and sleep better at night to continue to drive the point home, then have at it. But...He'll be fine though.

when i saw him supporting his teammates, all i could think of was the fact that those were the guys kindle had gone to war with for 2 years. to me, he looked like a guy who truly "regretted" not being out there with his boyz and figured the best way he could help out is to support them from the stands. i saw "passion" in his body language, he was only trying to help his teammates and i don't have a problem with that. it appeared to me that he was trying to get quick's attention perhaps to give him some advice on what he was seeing on the field.
now, i agree that kindle should've cooperated with security and sat down or left the area without incident. to me, that's the only thing he did wrong. but again, when i was an aggie undergrad, i'm not so sure that i wouldn't have responded the same way kindle did. i mean, but now as a full grown mature adult who have learned from my experiences in life, i know better than to conduct myself that way. but as a 20 or 21 year old college student, i'm sure that i didn't have the same level of maturity that i have now. just being honest about it.
i think criticism of kindle's antics in the stands are justified. but i also think the criticism should take into account that any college student of kindle's age may have reacted the same way that kindle did...
