Kindle INT to end the game...NCAT 20 FAMU 26 FINAL That last pass into the endzone almost ended up being the lead play on "SportsCenter." It bounced off of two FAMU players and we almost came up with it in the endzone, but a third FAMU player grabbed it.

That is all the more of a reason to throw to the other receivers. That is how the game is played. The Stud receiver opens up options for the QB to progress down to the open man. A good QB with good vision will always throw to the open man to complete the pass. When the Ball is thrown you never no if it will be a catch are a drop but the point is you throw it. That's the difference between a great QB and a so so QB. The great ones throw to the open man. I was at a summer football camp one year in high school and they had Mr high tops (Johnny Unitas colts & Gloster Richardson Kansas City Chiefs) Unitas said that it is my job to get you the ball if your open and Gloster stated it's my job to catch it. That's it in a nut shell. You can put foot work into it perfect ball in to it all day, But if your open your open and Kindle should have the vision to see that. Kindle should be able to see who is going to be open by the set up of the defense before the ball is snapped and then start his Progressions that is what great QB's do.

Mayhem had a shin injury. I thought it was his ankle. Really hope he can go on Saturday. He's been pretty nicked up. For a while both he and Drake were out. They were both doing so well before the injuries set them down. This team has to have a running game to compete. Even when Mayhew is not having his best day, just the threat that he will bust one helps this offense.

I agree MUDABO: A good running game opens up a lot . We'll be OK. We should be at lest 3 deep with no drop off at RB but we don't have that yet. With hope we'll add two more RB's on the incoming 2012 class. And a QB an two more good receivers . We have a 6'5 Fr but I think he was red shirted this year. He played in the East-west game. Hopefully things will look better this next game. But I do know this Broadway is not going to put up with the DISCIPLINE brake down that we had this weekend. If we had the depth on the team that we should have . I would not be Surprised to see some new faces on the Offense this week. He just may do that anyway Depth are not. He did it at Grambling with the hold Offense line just to send the massage to his players.

I would like to see more plays for R. Lewis, he seems to make things happen with the ball in his hands. The OC could stand to open the playbook a little bit more...why hold back, nothing to lose.

Yes I agree with you on that. Maybe the OC will do that against SCSU and NCCU. Because as you say we have nothing to lose. For some reason I have a feeling that we just may see A&T using more players besides the starters for the next two games. With the OC opening up the Offense more ARE as one of my player said when he thought the coaches were out of Ear shoot ("Coach put in some GUNSLINGER S------------------------------IT) LOL. That would be a good ending for the last to games. I'm just wondering when and if the OC and Broadway are going to just let Kindle lose and be him self. ? You play different in a system but just let him be Kindle for one game would be something to see. I think that he is a runner and they want let that out of him. I honestly think that Kindle is a M. Vick type player for some reason. They should try a moving pocket with Kindle just to see how it works. R. lewis needs the ball more and that's all I have to say about that just Get Him The ball. I like that Drake kid good runner N/S type of guy.

I've watched Kindle carefully these past games and I have concluded a) he really doesn't have a strong passing arm and b) he is slow. He can run if he has to but I'm sorry, I think I could outrun him in the 40. Now maybe I'm wrong but this guy isn't a real threat with his feet. I think he's terrific when he has time to look over the recievers and throw short passes (10 to 15 yards). Beyond that, his passes look like wounded ducks. Don't mean no harm but that's just my opinion.

What do you think about the play call while we were up 20-7 to throw the ball deep when Mayhew and Drake were just getting yds plus that 10-15 yd slant pass to Miles was working also

LOL ;D Fran Tarkenton DON'T HAVE A ARM BUT HE GOT IT DONE. MANAGEMENT WINS MORE GAMES THEN YOU THINK.

I loved the play call...you go for the knockout, which they did. The receiver was open...50/50 chance he would've caught had Kindle thrown the ball far enough. Not only that, he was supposed to either overthrow or put it on the money...but NOT underthrow. Now that pass was an AFLAC. Hence, FAMU started their comeback. It was a risk but, a calculated risk...it was there for the taking. Like mentioned before, we gotta make the plays on the field that are there for the taking.

Now that I think about it a little more. I would have taken that shoot but on 1st down.

i didn't see the game, but it looks like we outplayed famu "statistically" except on the scoreboard. at this point in the season, i think our expectations are too high. due to our early season success, i think our opponents are playing against us with more respect than before which makes our games a little tougher.
our team has "overachieved" this season, in my opinion. we've been in a position to win every single meac game we've played. couldn't say that last year, nor the year before, nor the year before that, or the year before that.
i just hope that we can close out the season strong and win our last two games. but at the very least, we've got to beat central! i'd consider holding mayhew out of the scsu game and save him for central if he's not close to 100% this week...
