Three catches yesterday for a game-high 73 yards, including a 47 yard touchdown.
Go ahead, Aggie Monster. You now have the floor ....

LOL, I will not "apologize" for giving my opinion on past play. Apologizing would admit that I was wrong in what I was saying. He wasn't playing up to his potential, right?
BUUT!, what I will do is give props where they are do. He stepped up when he was needed. Miles was being doubled the whole game and he showed that he can make teams pay for doing that. Good job young man. I'm glad you shut me up! I'll even say that there were a couple of misfires by Kindle where you could have had an even bigger day if he hit you in stride.
You have shredded Larry "Paper" and are now Larry Raper "The Playmaker". Gob job! Keep it up. I mean it, keep it up.
Let me also add that I did not start the Larry "paper" nickname. I just thought it was creative and fitting. It also came about because our previous staff somehow thought he was a running back. He is clearly a better receiver.
Is it illegal to say I will donate a certain amount to the program for every Raper TD?

good to see this young man get going! i was at the game yesterday and it felt good to get a win on the road! but i can't leave my boy monster hanging out there all by himself. just last week i myself stated that raper was on the verge of becoming a bonafide "bust". well, yesterday's performance put the "bust" talk on hold for a while. hopefully the "bust" talk will completely vanish altogether if mr. raper keeps this up! good game young man! good game!

Quietly, why nobody is noticing, the Aggies are the least penalized team in the MEAC. By a long shot. These men are being coached. The first step in becoming a competitive team is Discipline. Untimely penalties have long been an achilies for the Aggies. This team is certainly a work in process. The offensive line was again the most impressive unit on the field. The defensive line again held their own. Don't know how long we can go with lack of depth on the offensive and defensive line, but these guys are competing. Great to see

I've always maintained that if we got the ball to Raper more he'd come through. Yesterday he didn't disappoint.

He had a good game, but lets not get carried away. It was Morgan State. Lets see how he steps up in the next 3 games. I might give passes against BCC. They are tough. We'll have to play perfect ball to win that game and I'm not sure we are deep enough to keep up with that offensive attack. But against Deleware St and Howard I expect more of what I saw Saturday.

BCU is loaded...but with some type of ball control, we could possibly be competitive.

Great to see Penalties and playing with a lack of discipline are one of the main factors why the MEAC has a decade's long losing streak. The team that is penalized the least will have the best shot to usually win in the MEAC.

with the speed he has, i'd like to see raper get a few carries at running back. mayhew's backups hasn't been very productive so far and raper could provide a change up in terms of running style. and maybe now raper has more confidence after having a big game against morgan last week.
i think now might be a good time to get him more touches. i'd also consider bringing him in at the right time for a couple of play action screen passes to get him the ball in open space where he can take advantage of his speed...

Wait wait wait, LOL. We've been down this route before haven't we?. No running back for Raper please. Let him shine at WR. I'd rather see Lewis at running back before they put Raper back there again.
