How in da HAIL cud it have been 11,000 at the game?? Did they include students that did and did not attend da game?? Did it include season ticket holders dat did and did not attend da game??? Sumbody fluffed sum numbers dat were there and in the "game zone"!!!! Remember they are counting tickets now so folks don't have to go inside the stadium now. Besides I was at the JC Smith game in 2008 when we had a reported attendance of 11,552 and the seating looked about the same.

decks....Yeah, I sorta remember the Smith game. I guess if we got 11,000+ worth of cash money that is the only number that counts!!!Thanxs for clearing that up.

Counting those "paid" tickets now instead of heads and folks still taligated as they normally do so given even nagivigating through a construction zone. Even with all the obstacles, I would say it was a very successful opening day of the 2011 football season.

11,000+ is a great number for this game. That exceeded my expectations.

The stadium and field looked just great. The campus and grounds were very well maintained . Everything was beauitful on and around the yard. A great time was had by all who attended, if you were not there ,you missed a wonderful saturday college football experience . I don't think anyone , anywhere had better time than we faithful 11,000 diehards Aggie fans and the best is still yet to come homecomming and the dirt birds of nccu. Stay tuned

Jwill, you are absolutely correct. The campus looked first-class. I didn't miss those nonpayers hanging out one bit. Homecoming beying filled with payers will mean less congestion and decreased security risks.

I would say that 13th is very, very good, especially with the team we were playing and the new tailgating policy.
Of course, if we played Winston we'd probably be top five, but that's neither here nor there...
I'm rather shocked at how low the attendance numbers are this year. The economy is taking its toll.

I guess I have to be the devil in this. I was not happy with the attendance nor with the tailgate. It put you in my of my High School tail gate. It was like a ghost town then they ask you to leave a hour after the gam. 11,000 is nothing compared to the Winston game that number was around 20,000 +
