;DIm on your side bruh, bruh but I have to respectfuuly disagree with your opinion of Marshall Glenn. I have watched his teaching skills in practices and games and I am unconvinced. The technical skills (foot work, proper throwing mechanics, etc.) have not been taught very well. Kindle is a natural talent but he hasnt had a lot of help and you know the story on the back ups. Glenn was marginal at best when he played but he is an outstanding person who probably be coaching on the high school level. Marshall Glenn's strong points were his footwork and his throwing mechanics. Thats why more times than not, he started during his career. He harped on mechanics and footwork while coaching at A&t (kids don't always listen) He comes from a background of coaching and has a strong passion for for his craft. He is one of the brighter QB minds we have had here at A&T. Had Lewis Kindle threw for a gazillion yards the past year, we would be singing his praises. Things just dont always work out that way. Truth is unless you name is Hooker or Maynor, its pretty hard to play or coach QB here.

Being good at what you do and teaching it are two very different things. I'm also not sold on Kindle. He aint showed me nothing but that he knows how to lose two late season games gracefully. Anyways, I thought this was his FIRST year as QB coach? Cant really judge him on being a QB coach when he has been a WR coach longer.

Real Talk AM, We also have a proven QB coach in the A&T pedigree on the High School level. Jason Battle is at Rocky Mount High and is doing a great job with QBs and the offense there as he was the OC there as well. He in my opinion would do a much better job than Marshall Glen if you are going to go young.......

Yoshida was also the defensive coordinator here for one season in 2002 I think.

Yeah he came in during Hayes' last year and got cut along with Hayes, if memory serves me.

I rememeber that game well....it was one in which Portland State coach said our defense was PAC-10 fast.... ;D

That was a tough year. Young team and alot of close loses. I've read nothing but good things about Yoshida.

And Yoshida spent a number of years a ECU under Steve Logan as well.
